I GUESS WE START WITH A ROLL

[00:00:01]

CALL.

YES, SIR.

[Environmental and Community Advisory Board on November 11, 2020]

BOB BRUNCH, DISTRICT THREE, IF WE CAN GO BY DISTRICT JOHN YOU'RE NEXT, UH, JOHN BALL DISTRICT TO DISTRICT ONE, DENNIS GARCIA, DISTRICT FOUR ROBERTS DISTRICT FIVE.

HEY, BURN AND DISTRICT SIX.

ALL RIGHT.

AND YOU KNOW, AND ROBERT HAS JOINED US.

LET ME UPGRADE HIM AS WELL.

OKAY.

HEY ROBERT, CAN YOU UNMUTE YOURSELF AND TURN ON THE CAMERA, PLEASE? THERE YOU ARE.

HERE'S ROBERT.

ALL RIGHT.

WELL, SO WE HAVE ROBERT FROM DISTRICT EIGHT AND I AM URIEL VILLA PANDO, THE STAFF LIAISON.

AND CHRIS, BEFORE WE START, DO YOU MIND GIVING US A BRIEF INTRO OF WHO YOU ARE, HOW LONG YOU'VE BEEN WITH THE CD AND THEN YOU ARE ACTUALLY, OR FIRST ITEM ON THE AGENDA.

SO THEN YOU'LL BE ABLE TO GO INTO MORE DETAIL.

OKAY.

THANKS URIEL.

MY NAME IS CHRIS NAGLE.

I'M THE LANDFILL DIRECTOR.

I JUST BEEN HERE A SHORT TIME, LITTLE OVER A YEAR NOW, YEAR AND A COUPLE MONTHS.

UM, I CAME TO GARLAND FROM ANOTHER JOB, MANAGING A LANDFILL IN COLORADO, WHERE I WORKED FOR ABOUT A DOZEN YEARS IN VERY MUCH THE SAME CAPACITY THAT I WORK HERE.

UM, SO I'VE BEEN AT THE LANDFILL FOR JUST OVER A YEAR NOW.

AND, UM, THAT'S BASICALLY MY BACKGROUND.

UM, YOUR LAST ME TO COME TONIGHT TO GIVE A BRIEF INNER, UH, INTRODUCTION OR OVERVIEW OF WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES ARE GOING ON AT THE HENSON LANDFILL, UH, PARTICULARLY WITH RESPECT TO, UH, GAS TO ENERGY.

SO THE SHORT STORY, PARDON ME, IS OVER THE LAST ABOUT A TWO YEAR PERIOD.

WE STARTED, UM, INVESTIGATING THE POSSIBILITIES FOR THE HINTON LANDFILL TO CONVERT THE LANDFILL GAS, WHICH IS A NATURAL BY-PRODUCT OF THE DEGREGATION DEGRADATION OF THE WASTE INTO ENERGY, WHICH IS COMMON PRACTICE IN LANDFILLS, ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AND AROUND THE WORLD.

UM, AND SO WE'VE MADE A LOT OF PROGRESS OVER, PARTICULARLY THE LAST NINE MONTHS WHEN, UM, WE COMPLETED AN RFP PROCESS AND GOT PROPOSALS FROM SEVERAL VENDORS, SELECTED ONE.

AND WE NOW HAVE A PARTNERSHIP WITH A COMPANY CALLED, UH, GARLAND RENEWABLES.

THEY ARE A SUBSIDIARY OF A COMPANY IN, IN MIDLAND CALLED MAURO RENEWABLES.

AND WHAT THEY DO IS THEY COLLECT THE GAS FROM THE LANDFILL AND THEY PURIFY IT AND CONDENSE IT INTO WHAT IS ESSENTIALLY PURE METHANE.

IT'S ALSO KNOWN AS PIPELINE QUALITY GAS, AND ALSO A COMMON TERM FOR THAT IS HIGH BTU GAS.

SO THE LANDFILL GAS IS, IS COLLECTED PURIFIED, UM, CONDENSED.

AND THEN I WANT US TO USE THE WORD INJECTED, I GUESS, OR IT'S ADDED TO THE PIPELINE, UM, THAT IS USED TO DELIVER GAS, NATURAL GAS, ENERGY TO HOMES IN THE AREA.

UH, THERE'S AN ATMOS PIPELINE THAT RUNS RIGHT NEAR THE LANDFILL PROPERTY.

SO WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW IS THERE'S A, THERE'S A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ON THE LANDFILL PROPERTY THAT, UM, THEY'RE CONSTRUCTING A PLANT TO DO THE PROCESSING THAT I JUST MENTIONED.

AND WE WILL HAVE A PIPELINE THAT RUNS JUST OFF THE PROPERTY, IF YOU KNOW, WHERE THE WATER VIEW GOLF COURSE IT IS THEN, UM, YOU'D BE FAMILIAR WITH THE AREA WHERE THE INTERCONNECTS TO ATLAS'S PIPELINE WILL BE.

IT'LL BE RIGHT AT THE BACK OF THE DRIVING RANGE.

AND SO, UM, THEY'RE IN THE, IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND, UH, WE EXPECT THE PLANT TO COME ONLINE, UH, ABOUT PROBABLY SOMETIME IN MARCH, POSSIBLY APRIL TIMEFRAME.

UM, THE PLANT WILL PRODUCE ABOUT 5,000 CUBIC FEET PER MINUTE OF, UH, PIPELINE QUALITY GAS, UH, AT ITS PEAK.

I THINK WE'LL START OFF IF EVERYONE IS ESTIMATING IN THE 3000 CFM NEIGHBORHOOD AND OVER TIME WOULD PEAK OUT AT ABOUT 5,000 AND THE, THE ARRANGEMENT WITH THE GARLAND RENEWABLES COMPANY WILL PAY ROYALTIES TO THE CITY, UM, IN THE AMOUNT OF A FEW CENTS PER CUBIC FOOT, AND THEN A PERCENTAGE OF YOUR GROSS REVENUES.

SO THE ESTIMATE ON THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY WILL LOOK LIKE SOMETHING IN THE HALF, A MILLION DOLLAR RANGE ANNUALLY TO THE CITY,

[00:05:01]

UH, THROUGH THIS PARTNERSHIP, UH, THE DEAL WITH THEM RUNS 20 YEARS.

THE LANDFILL LIFESPAN RIGHT NOW IS EXPECTED TO RUN 30 YEARS.

SO, UH, WE EXPECT THAT AT SOME POINT THOUGH, THERE'LL BE EITHER A RENEWAL OR TOO FAR IN THE FUTURE TO REALLY PREDICT.

BUT, UM, YOU, YOU, YOU KNOW, IN THAT LIFETIME OF THE LANDFILL, YOU MIGHT SEE A DIFFERENT COMPANY OR A DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGY COME ALONG, BUT AT LEAST FOR THE 20 YEAR FORESEEABLE FUTURE, UM, THE CITY OF GARLAND WILL HAVE THIS DEAL.

SO THAT'S, THAT'S THE, THAT'S PRETTY MUCH WHAT'S GOING ON IN GAS ENERGY.

IN A NUTSHELL, IT'S BEEN, UH, AS I SAID ABOUT A TWO YEAR PROCESS TO GET TO THIS POINT, AND, UM, IT'S NOT UNCOMMON TO SEE THIS KIND OF ACTIVITY AT LANDFILLS.

IN FACT, MOST LANDFILLS ALREADY HAVE THESE KINDS OF PLANTS IN PLACE.

UH, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OTHER REGIONAL LANDFILLS.

UM, MOST NOTABLY DALLAS CITY, DALLAS HAS A VERY LARGE LANDFILL, SECOND LARGEST ONE IN THE STATE.

THE, UM, UH, NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT HAS, UH, A GOOD, FAIRLY SIZED REGIONAL LANDFILL.

AND THE CITY OF DENTON HAS ANOTHER LANDFILL.

THAT IS, THESE ARE SORT OF THE, THE LANDFILLS THAT ARE ON PAR IN TERMS OF AMOUNTS OF WASTE DEPOSITED EACH DAY WITH THE GARLAND LANDFILL AND THOSE LANDFILLS ALL ALREADY HAVE THESE TYPES OF PLANTS IN PLACE, UM, OR ARE ALSO IN THE PROCESSING IT'S CASE OF DENTON.

THEY'RE ALSO IN THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING ONE.

SO THAT'S, THAT'S THE, THAT'S THE REAL QUICK, SORTA QUICK AND DIRTY UPDATES BATTLE I HAD PREPARED, BUT OBVIOUSLY I WANT TO, UH, ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT ANY OF YOU MIGHT HAVE GUYS BEFORE WE WANT TO ANY QUESTIONS, CAN WE GO OVER THE APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES? AND THEN WE CAN GO BACK TO CHRIS AND ASK AS MANY QUESTIONS AS YOU WILL LIKE, BOB, DO YOU HAVE THOSE ACTUALLY, NO.

WHAT I CAN DO IS I CAN SHARE MY SCREEN WITH YOU GUYS SO YOU CAN ALL READ THEM.

YEP.

AND, UH, THAT'S, THAT'S, THAT'S SOMETHING THAT WE'LL HAVE TO DO.

LET ME, LET ME PULL THEM UP.

GIVE ME ONE SECOND.

CALEB WAS SUPPOSED TO BRING HIM, I READ THEM AND I WILL MOTION TO APPROVE THEM.

ALSO.

I WROTE HIM EARLIER TODAY AND IT LOOKED FINE TO ME.

ALL RIGHT.

ARE YOU GUYS SEEING THE MINUTES? THE DRAFT MINUTES? YES.

YES.

PERFECT.

ALL RIGHT.

SO I'M GOING TO SCROLL DOWN AND I'M GOING TO HOLD IT RIGHT THERE.

AND THEN JUST LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU NEED ME TO SCROLL DOWN A LITTLE BIT MORE.

I THINK WE CAN GO AHEAD AND VOTE TO APPROVE THEM.

I, UH, I VOTE TO APPROVE THE MINUTES AS READ JOHN BALL SECOND DISTRICT IN FAVOR.

WE'VE SEEN EACH OTHER.

ALL RIGHT.

MINUTES HAVE BEEN APPROVED.

UH, ANY QUESTIONS FOR CHRIS? YEAH, I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.

FIRST ONE IS, IS THE, IS THE PRICE THAT IS PAID THE CITY OF GARLAND.

IS THAT CONTINGENT ON NATURAL GAS PRICES ON THE MARKET? UH, NO, IT'S NOT.

IT'S, IT'S ONLY CONTINGENT ON, WELL, IT IS A COMPONENT OF IT IS THE, THE THERE'S TWO COMPONENTS TO THE PAYMENT.

ONE IS BASED ON HOW MUCH GAS IS PUT THROUGH THE PLANT AND THE OTHER COMPONENT IS BASED ON THEIR GROSS REVENUES.

SO, UM, THAT PART OF THEIR PAYMENT IS CONTINGENT ON GAS PRICES.

BUT THE OTHER PART IS NOT, IT'S A, IT'S A, IT'S A FLAT NUMBER BASED ON HOW MANY, UM, CUBIC FEET OF GAS GO THROUGH THE PLANT.

SO IT'S KINDA, IT'S KINDA LIKE BUILT TO BE SORT OF THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.

SO YOU DIDN'T WANT TO BE, YOU DIDN'T WANT TO BE BEHOLDEN TO ONLY THE MARKET AND YOU REALLY COULDN'T GET A CONTRACTOR TO COME ALONG AND DO IT.

IF YOU, IF YOU ONLY ASKED THEM TO, TO GUARANTEE YOU MONEY.

SO WE KIND OF SPLIT THE DIFFERENCE IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THAT PAYMENT PLAN.

SO WHO'S, UH, WHO'S PAYING FOR THE PLANT AND THE CONNECTION, UH, THE CONTRACTOR IS PAYING FOR THE PLANT AND THE CONNECTION, ALL THE CONSTRUCTION IS ALL ON THEM.

UH, IN ADDITION, IN ADDITION TO THAT, THEY'RE GOING TO TAKE OVER THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE GUESTS COLLECTION, WELL FIELD ABOUT 70, OR ABOUT 120 WELLS CURRENTLY ON THE SITE.

AND, UM, SO THE CITY CURRENTLY HAS AN OBLIGATION TO OPERATE THOSE AND MAINTAIN THEM AND KEEP THEM WITHIN REGULATORY LIMITS.

UH, YOU KNOW, WE'RE ON THE HOOK.

IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG IN TERMS OF BEING OUT OF COMPLIANCE AND THE CONTRACTORS ARE GOING TO TAKE OVER ALL OF THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF, OF THAT SYSTEM.

THEY'RE ALSO GOING TO BE

[00:10:01]

INTERESTED IN ADDING MORE WELLS THAN ARE THERE.

NOW, TYPICALLY WHAT WE HAVE IS ABOUT ONE, WELL PER ACRE, WHICH IS KIND OF A BARE MINIMUM TO STAY IN COMPLIANCE.

AND HONESTLY IT LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED BECAUSE WITH SUCH A SMALL RATIO AND SMALL NUMBER OF WELLS, YOU STILL GET GAS THAT FOR LACK OF A BETTER WORD LEAKS OUT INTO THE ATMOSPHERE AND CAN CAUSE MIGRANT ODORS OFF THE SITE, WHICH ARE ALSO A VIOLATION OF THE PERMIT.

SO THEIR INTEREST IN PUTTING MORE WELLS HAVE MORE GAS, WHICH IS A PROFITABLE INTEREST FOR THEM OBVIOUSLY, AND FOR THE CITY, BUT IT ALSO PUSHES US CLOSER AND CLOSER TO COMPLETE COMPLIANCE WITH THE, UM, WITH THE, UH, MIGRANT ODOR REGULATIONS.

SO THAT'S ANOTHER BENEFIT THEY'LL TAKE OVER THE O AND M OF THE, OF THE, OF THE GAS PLANT AND THE GAS WE'LL FIELD.

AND THEY PAY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION COMPLETELY.

AND THAT'S ABOUT AN $85,000 A YEAR SAVINGS TO OUR OPERATIONS BUDGET BY, BY NOT HAVING TO MAINTAIN THE GAS WILL FIELD, UM, OVER THE 20 YEARS TO, SO AS THE LANDFILL MATERIALS AND ALSO BE MORE GAS WELLS IN, UH, INSTALLED.

IS THAT CORRECT? YOU BET.

YEAH.

EACH TIME THAT, UH, UH, UH, CELL OF THE LANDFILL IS BUILT IN SECTIONS, WE CALL THEMSELVES THERE IN THE CURRENT PHASE, WE HAVE 12 CELLS, UH WE'RE WE DO, WE DO ONE ABOUT EVERY TWO YEARS.

SO WE JUST STARTED ONE THE EIGHTH ONE.

AND, AND SO AS WE LEAVE CELL SEVEN AND IT'S COMPLETED OUT TO IT, IT'S NO PERMITTED ELEVATION.

NOW A WELL FIELD NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO THAT CELL.

UH, ABOUT 25 TO 30 WELLS WOULD BE INSTALLED THERE.

AND THIS YEAR, INSTEAD OF THE CITY, HAVING TO FOOT THE BILL FOR THAT, UM, GARLAND RENEWABLES, THE CONTRACTORS, NOT LIKE A BURDEN JUST ON THE GROUND.

PARDON ME? I MISSED, I MISSED THAT SOUNDS LIKE A BURDEN YES.

ON THE GROUND.

I MEAN, THEY'RE TAKING UP ALL THE RISK AND ALL THE FINANCIAL AND COVER WAS TO DEVELOP THE, A SEPARATOR PLANT PUT IN THE PIPELINE AND THE CITY, I DON'T THINK CAN LOSE ON THAT.

IT'S A PRETTY GOOD DEAL.

UM, PRETTY SWEET DEAL.

I THINK TOO, YOU KNOW, TO BE HONEST ABOUT IT, I THINK IT'S AN INDICATION OF HOW MUCH REVENUE IS AVAILABLE IN THAT STREAM.

YOU KNOW, THEY'RE NOT DOING IT TOTALLY FOR FREE, BUT THE FACT THAT THEY'RE WILLING TO PUT SO MUCH WHERE WITH ALL INTO IT MEANS THAT THEY'RE GOING TO, THEY'RE GOING TO BE EARNING A FAIR AMOUNT OF MONEY ALSO.

UM, IN ADDITION TO WHAT THERE'LL BE PAYING THE CITY.

THE OTHER QUESTION I HAVE IS, IS WHAT WOULD THEY WERE POSSESSED YOU TO LEAVE COLORADO? WELL, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I'M A CA I'M A TRANSPLANT TO COLORADO.

THIS IS MY HOMETOWN.

I GREW UP IN ROCKWALL AND WENT TO ROCKWELL HIGH SCHOOL.

AND MY FAMILY STILL IS THERE.

IN FACT, MY PARENTS LIVE IN THE HOUSE WE GREW UP IN AND, UM, YOU KNOW, I LIVED OUT MY, MY SKI FANTASY AND DREAMS IN COLORADO FOR A GOOD LONG WHILE.

AND, UH, ONCE I GOT OLDER, IT GOT COLDER.

AND SO THE VARIETY OF REASONS LIKE THAT OR WHY I CAME HOME, WELCOME HOME.

THANKS A LOT.

I DON'T MISS IT A BIT.

I'M GLAD TO BE HERE.

ANYBODY ELSE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS? I'M WONDERING WHAT KIND OF RECYCLING PROGRAMS YOU WERE RUNNING INTO LANDFILL, IF ANY, UM, AT THE LANDFILL, THE, THE CHIEF RECYCLING PROGRAM THAT WE HAVE IS THE WOOD AND, UM, ORGANICS RECYCLING PROGRAM, WHICH WHEN I CAME ON BOARD A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AGO, KIND OF HAD BEEN PUT ON HOLD AND HADN'T, HADN'T REALLY OPERATED IN FOR ABOUT A YEAR PRIOR TO THAT.

BUT, UH, HERE RECENTLY, WE'VE KIND OF KICKED THAT THING BACK INTO GEAR NOW.

SO, UM, WE'VE PROCESSED ALL OF THE WOODWAY AND WHAT THAT PROGRAM IS, IS WE TAKE IN ALL THE MANNER OF CLEAN BRUSH AND TREE LANDS, LEAVES, GRASS, THAT KIND OF STUFF.

UM, AND WE RECYCLE IT THROUGH A COMPOSTING PROCESS, UH, WHICH MEANS WE GRIND THE WOOD AND LIMBS INTO WOODCHIPS WHEN WE PILE THEM UP AND LET THEM QUOTE UNQUOTE COOK FOR SIX TO NINE MONTHS AFTER THAT PERIOD OF TIME, THAT IS BROKEN DOWN INTO SMALLER AND SMALLER BITS.

AND THEN WE RUN THAT MATERIAL THROUGH A SCREENER, WHICH SEPARATES THE LARGER PIECES FROM THE SMALLER PIECES.

AND THEN YOU BASICALLY, YOU GOT A PILE OF WOOD CHIPS AND YOU GOT A PILE OF FINER MATERIAL, LOOKS LIKE DIRT, SMELLS LIKE DIRT, UM, CALLED COMPOST.

SO, UH, WE'VE JUST RECENTLY COMPLETED THE

[00:15:01]

FIRST STAGE OF THAT.

SO THAT IS TO SAY WE, WE RENTED A GRINDER AND WE GROUND ABOUT 40,000 CUBIC YARDS OF WOOD WASTE THAT HAD BEEN, UH, PILED ON THE SITE.

AND, UM, IN THIS MONTH WE'VE BEEN RUNNING ALL OF THAT GROUND MATERIAL THROUGH THE SCREENER, AND WE'RE JUST ABOUT FINISHED THROUGH THAT PROCESS.

UM, AND NOW WE'RE TRYING TO, WE DEVELOPED A COUPLE OF MARKETS FOR THAT MATERIAL, AND WE'RE GOING TO CONTINUE TO TRY TO DEVELOP MORE.

SO WE HAVE ONE CUSTOMER WHO'S BUYING THE WOOD CHIPS IN BULK, AND THEY'RE HAULING IT TO A FACILITY IN PARIS, TEXAS, WHERE THEY, THEY REPROCESS IT EVEN MORE INTO THE BAG TO RETAIL PRODUCTS LIKE YOU FIND IN HOME DEPOT AND LOWE'S.

AND, UM, WE'RE ALSO MAKING IT AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS, UH, AT THE TRANSFER STATION AND AT THE LANDFILL, UH, RESIDENTS OF GARLAND CAN COME AND PICK AS MUCH OF THAT STUFF UP AS THEY WANT FOR FREE.

AND WE'RE WORKING ON A COUPLE OTHER PLACES WHERE WE HOPE TO SELL THE MATERIAL.

UM, AND WE'LL JUST ANNOUNCE A CYCLE.

SO WE'LL START PILING UP.

UH, ANOTHER PILE OF BRUSH.

IT NEVER STOPS COMING IN AND BOUTS SOMETIME THIS SPRING, WE'LL START THE PROCESS OVER AGAIN.

UH, THAT'S THE MAIN RECYCLING PROGRAM.

OTHER THAN THAT, UH, THE TRADITIONAL RECYCLABLES COLLECTED AT THE CURBSIDE ARE, ARE HANDLED ON A DIFFERENT SITE THAN THE LANDFILL URIAL IS MANAGING THAT SITE FOR THE CITY.

AND HE CAN TALK MORE ABOUT WHERE THOSE GO.

UM, WE'RE, WE'RE, WE'RE LOOKING INTO A PLANNING PROCESS WHERE WE MIGHT BE ABLE TO, UM, COLLECT THOSE MATERIALS ONSITE, SORTA INCREASE THAT VOLUME OF MATERIAL, BUT WE WOULD, IF THAT REALLY COMES TO FRUITION, WE WOULD BE SENDING THAT MATERIAL THROUGH THE TRANSFER STATION AND ONTO THE SAME SORTING CENTER.

SO, BUT NO LARGER METALS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

UM, I'M GLAD YOU BROUGHT THAT UP BECAUSE IT SLIPPED MY MIND.

WE DO HAVE A, UM, OPEN-TOP ROLL-OFF CONTAINER FOR COLLECTING METALS AND, UH, RESONANCE AND OTHER CUSTOMERS WHO COME TO LANDFILL CAN PUT, THEY PUT THE METAL IN THOSE CONTAINERS AND THEY GET SENT TO A COMPANY HERE IN GARLAND, LOCALLY, DFW METALS BE RECYCLED.

YEAH.

I'M IN THE RECYCLING BUSINESS.

SO, UM, FOR, FOR EVERYBODY ELSE, YOU SHOULD KIND OF TRANSLATE WHAT 40,000 IN TERMS OF HOW MANY OFF BOXES THAT IS APPROXIMATELY, BECAUSE IT'S AN IMPRESSIVE AMOUNT YARDS, UH, LOOKS LIKE THREE OR FOUR, 4,000 SQUARE FOOT HOUSES PILED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.

THAT'S ONE WAY TO LOOK AT IT.

I GUESS THAT'S A VERY ROUGH ESTIMATE, BUT IT'S A LOT OF MATERIALS.

YEAH.

I THINK IT'S WAY MORE THAN 40 ROLL OFF BOXES.

UH IT'S IT'S WAY UP THERE BECAUSE THE MATERIAL DOESN'T COMPACT THAT WELL, SO THE AMOUNT OF SPACE, IT WAS A BIG PILE AND IT WAS ONLY A LITTLE BIT DAUNTING, BUT, UM, WE'VE TACKLED HALF OF THE PROCESS AT THIS POINT, MOVING THE MATERIAL INTO SOME KIND OF A MARKET LIKE GETTING PARKS DEPARTMENTS OR LANDSCAPING COMPANIES OR NURSERIES TO GET INTEREST AND AWARENESS THAT WE HAVE, THIS STUFF IS OUR NEXT CHALLENGE, BUT I'M CONFIDENT THAT WE'LL MEET THAT.

THAT'S AWESOME.

UM, HAVE YOU TOURED THE, UH, DALLAS LANDFILL AT ALL? SAME OR STARTING AREAS? I HAVEN'T TOURED THE DALLAS LANDFILL YET.

I'VE BEEN TO A COUPLE OTHER, UM, LANDFILLS IN THE REGION.

AND, UM, I I'VE BEEN THERE AS A CUSTOMER BEFORE, AND I HAVEN'T SEEN THEIR MURPH, THE RECYCLING SORTING CENTER, BUT I'VE BEEN TO A COUPLE THAT ARE VERY SIMILAR TO THAT ONE.

UM, IN THE PAST I'D LIKE TO GO THERE.

I NEED TO FIGURE OUT A WAY TO GET ON THE INSIDE.

I CAN PROBABLY HELP YOU THERE.

FRIENDS OF MINE CONSULTED WITH THEM FOR FREE TO SET UP THEIR, THEIR METALS RECYCLING PROGRAM AND THEIR COVERED AREA WITH ALL THE BOXES AND STUFF.

AND WE'D BE HAPPY TO COME OUT AND DO THAT FOR GARLAND TO, WE DON'T HAVE ANY INTEREST IN THE MATERIAL, BUT WE HAVE AN INTEREST WHERE WE LIVE.

SO IT WOULD BE SOMETHING WE COULD DO ANYWAY.

DOES ANYBODY ELSE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS? I HAVE, UH, ANOTHER QUESTION, UM, YOU MENTIONED THERE SEVERAL RECYCLING LANDFILLS AROUND THERE'S NORTH, TEXAS, THERE'S DALLAS THERE'S DARLING.

THERE'S SEVERAL.

IS THERE ANY, UM, MOTION TO CONSOLIDATE THOSE FOR THE CONSULT CONSERVATION OF LAND? OH, THAT'S AN EXCELLENT QUESTION.

I HAVEN'T HEARD OF ANY MOTIONS TO DO THAT IN THE TIME I'VE BEEN HERE.

I THINK IT'S, I THINK IT'S AN IDEA WORTH CONSIDERING.

I THINK THAT THERE ARE AT LEAST A COUPLE OF HURDLES TO, TO MOVING TO THAT POINT.

UH, NOT THE LEAST OF WHICH IS THE TIME

[00:20:01]

THAT THE CURRENT LANDFILLS HAVE A LIFT IN THEIR LIFESPAN.

SO I THINK, I THINK THE PRESSURE FOR AN IDEA LIKE THAT BECOMES, UM, GREATER WHEN THE LANDFILLS ARE REACHING THEIR END OF LIFE AND MANAGERS AND COUNCILS AND CITIZENS ARE KIND OF PRESSED WITH THE QUESTION OF WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NEXT? AND, UM, WE'RE PROBABLY ON THE SHORT TERM, 30 YEARS FROM THAT TYPE OF PRESSURE AND GIVEN THE LIFESPAN OF THE NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS, UH, LANDFILL LIFESPAN, PROBABLY EVEN MORE THAN THAT.

SO THAT'S ONE HURDLE.

AND I THINK THE SECOND HURDLE, IF, IF YOU COULD GET MOTION BEFORE THAT TIME CLOCK IS RUNNING OUT WOULD BE THE, THE INVESTMENT.

UM, NUMBER ONE ALREADY, THE INVESTMENT THAT'S BEEN MADE IN THE CURRENT LANDFILLS IS, IS SUBSTANTIAL.

AND, UM, THE INVESTMENT TO, TO CONSOLIDATE, TO DO SOMETHING LIKE BUILD A, UM, OH, WHAT'S THE WORD IN INCINERATOR THAT THAT WOULD BURN THE WASTE FOR ENERGY WOULD BE GREAT ALSO.

AND THOSE COSTS ARE GOING TO HOW TO BEAR THOSE COSTS IS GOING TO BE A MAJOR QUESTION FOR THOSE ENTITIES TO FIGURE OUT.

BUT I DON'T, I, I DON'T THINK IT'S IMPOSSIBLE.

I JUST THINK THAT IT'S PROBABLY NOT THE RIGHT TIME.

YEAH.

I HAD LOTS, SOME CONVERSATIONS WITH GX, I THINK FOR THE NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL FOR WATER DISTRICT, I THINK HE RUNS THE LANDFILL OUT THERE.

AND I THINK THAT I'M A LITTLE BIT CONFUSED ABOUT HIM.

AND I THINK THAT ONE OF THOSE GUYS HAS CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE WITH THE CONCEPT OF TRASH TO POWER.

AND THAT'S, I THINK I'VE EVEN PRESENTED A PAPER TO ARE SUSPICIOUS GROUP HERE ABOUT THAT.

SO I WOULD, I WOULD ENTERTAIN EVEN THEY GROUP MEETING WITH SOME OF THE NORTH TEXAS LANDFILL OPERATORS TO SEE WHAT THEY WOULD THINK ABOUT THE FUTURISTIC IDEAS, BRINGING TOGETHER, MAYBE A NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL LANDFILL IDEA, SO THAT A CONSOLIDATION TO A POINT WHERE TO A FOCAL POINT FOR A PLACE WHERE THAT CONSOLIDATION COULD BE BROUGHT TO FRUITION ABOUT THE ACTUAL CONCEPTS OF BEING ABLE TO DEVELOP, UH, A PROBABLY SINGULAR POWER PLANT OUT OF THE WAY OUT OF THE RANGE OF THE GARLAND GROUP HERE, WE TALKED TO MATT LANDFILL TO REEL THAT ONE IN.

AND IF ANYBODY, NOBODY ELSE HAS A QUESTION FOR CHRIS.

I'D LIKE TO THANK YOU.

UH, YOUR PRESENTATION IS, UH, VERY INFORMATIVE AND I PERSONALLY ENJOYED IT.

UH, DOES ANYBODY HAVE A QUESTION, BUDDY? NO.

THANK YOU.

ALL RIGHT.

WELL, I THINK WE'RE GOING TO MOVE ON, UH, TO, UH, KEEP GROWING.

THANK YOU GUYS.

THANKS FOR HAVING ME.

I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT EVENING.

I'M GOING TO DUCK OUT OF HERE IF THAT'S ALL RIGHT.

LIKE I SAID, I HOPE Y'ALL HAVE A GREAT EVENING.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

THANK YOU.

YES.

UM, KEEP BEAUTIFUL HAS BEEN BUSY AND WE'LL BE BUSY.

UM, UH, OCTOBER 31ST, WE HAD A, UM, HOW TO HAVE A MAJOR CLEANUP, THE HONOR SOCIETY OF GARLAND HIGH SCHOOL CONTACTED US AND WANTED TO WORK WITH US ON THIS.

SO WE HAD, UH, 64 STUDENTS FROM, UH, GARLAND HIGH SCHOOL AND WE HAD SEVEN SITES FOR CLEANUP.

NOW WE WERE GOING WITH THE GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION OF 10 PEOPLE PER GROUP AND THAT SORT OF THING.

SO WE HAD SEVEN SITES AND THERE WERE ABOUT 10 PEOPLE AT EACH ONE.

AND THAT WAS A TOTAL OF ABOUT 70 PEOPLE.

AND THEY GOT MORE THAN 90, UM, MAGS OF TRASH.

THEY WERE AT, UM, UH, WHEN SURF PARK, THERE WERE TWO GROUPS THERE, TWO GROUPS WITH, UH, UH, THE FOREST CREEK PRESERVE SPRING CREEK PRESERVE, UH, ALONG THAT CREEK, UM, THE CREEK TRAIL AND SOUTH GARLAND AND ONE AT, UH, LAWN WIND PARK.

SO WE THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL AND THE STUDENTS WERE WONDERFUL.

THEY WOULD FILL THEIR BAGS AND COME BACK AND GET ANOTHER ONE AND START OVER.

THEY REALLY

[00:25:01]

WERE GOOD TO WORK WITH.

SO, UH, LAST SUNDAY, UH, I GROUPED FROM THAT CREEK, UM, AND THE OAK RIDGE, UH, SECTION WANTING TO DO A CLEANUP AND THEY JOINED WITH US AND WITH 10 STUDENTS FROM, UH, GARLAND HIGH SCHOOL HONOR SOCIETY.

AND THEN THIS SUNDAY, UM, WHAT IS OUR NOT THE HIGHWAY DAY, UH, 10 STUDENTS HAVE SIGNED UP TO, UH, WORK WITH DANE IN DOING THAT.

OUR ADOPT A HIGHWAY GOES FROM MILLER ROAD TO ALMOST TO SIX 35.

IT'S SLIGHTLY LESS THAN TWO MILES.

AND, UH, IT'S VERY BUSY THOROUGHFARE.

SO THEY DO THIS EARLY ON SUNDAY MORNING.

EACH STUDENT HAS TO BRING A WAIVER SIGNED, UH, STATING, YOU KNOW, THE USUAL, UH, AND MAINLY ABOUT THE COVID, UH, UH, POSSIBILITIES.

SO WE'VE BEEN REALLY BUSY THE PAST, UH, TWO WEEKS AND THEN THIS SUNDAY.

SO THAT'S THREE CLEANUPS AND TWO WEEKS, WHICH I THINK IS PRETTY GOOD.

AND, UM, A REALLY GOOD THING IS, UH, MATT FROM THE PARKS DEPARTMENT HAS OFFERED A PLACE FOR US TO STORE ALL OUR SUPPLIES WITH THE KEEP GARLAND BEAUTIFUL.

AND SO I TOOK MY CAR WAS SAGGING.

I TOOK SO MUCH STUFF TO HIM YESTERDAY.

I CLEANED UP, UH, MY CAR TOOK STUFF OUT OF MY GARAGE, OUT OF MY LITTLE GARDEN SHED AFTER I'M UNDER THE STAIRS.

AND THERE'S QUITE A PILE OF STUFF THERE AT STORAGE PLACE.

AND, UH, WHEN I'M TALKING ABOUT STORAGE THINGS, I MEAN, THINGS THAT WE HAVE THERE ARE OFF THE GRABBERS.

WE HAVE A SAFETY VEST, WE HAVE TRASH BAGS, GLOVES, FIRST DAY KITS, UM, I'LL COMMS AND THINGS TO CONDUCT ANY, UH, CLEAN THAT.

AND SO HE IS STORING THOSE FOR US.

PLUS WE HAVE A WONDERFUL NEW TENT THAT BOB GRUNTS DONATED TO US.

SO WE ARE WE'RE READY FOR BUSINESS WHENEVER PEOPLE LET US OUT.

AND IN FACT, THE, UM, HONOR SOCIETY HAS ASKED IF THEY CAN COME BACK IN, I THINK JANUARY, FEBRUARY, AND APRIL TO HELP US WITH THINGS.

AND THEN WE WERE CONTACTED BY THE HONOR SOCIETY FROM NORTH GARLAND.

SO NOW WE'RE WORKING ON PLANS TO WORK WITH THEM.

SO WE ARE BUSY.

THAT'S THE, THAT'S WHAT WE'VE BEEN DOING.

IT'S IT.

ALL RIGHT.

WELL, BETTY, DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RECOGNITION? YES, WE HAVE, UM, THAT THIS LITTLE, UM, HONOR SOCIETY IS SO ACTIVE THAT WE ARE, AND THEY CONTACTED US AND WANTED TO DO THIS.

SO WE THINK THAT WHEN WE HAVE A CHANCE WE'RE GOING TO, UH, NOMINATE THEM FOR THE, UH, UH, ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD.

THEY ARE REALLY WORKING HARD FOR THIS.

PERFECT.

I DON'T KNOW IF ANYBODY ELSE HAD ANY KIDS THAT GRADUATED GIRL IN HIGH SCHOOL, BUT I HAD ONE DAUGHTER GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL.

YEAH.

UH, WAS THE LONGEST SOCIETY.

THERE ARE 70 STUDENTS AND 64 OF THEM SHOWED UP, BUT CLEAN NOW THAT'S NOT BAD.

THAT'S GOOD.

THEY'RE A GOOD GROUP.

SO WE'RE REALLY PLEASED TO WORK WITH THEM.

AND THEN I THINK WE'RE GOING TO BE ABLE TO WORK WITH THE HONOR SOCIETY FROM NORTH GARLAND.

SO WE'RE, WE'RE GETTING LOTS OF BENEFIT FROM THEM.

THAT'S AWESOME.

I GOT FIVE KIDS AND I COULDN'T GET TWO OFF THE COUCH IF THERE WAS A FIRE, HAVE THEM SIGN UP WITH US AND WE'LL PUT THEM TO WORK.

ALL RIGHT.

WHAT IS, WHAT IS THE NEXT BETTY? ARE YOU DONE? THANK YOU SO MUCH.

UM, DO WE HAVE ANY RECYCLING NEWS? AH, YEAH, JUST A COUPLE OF THINGS.

UM, UH, AS YOU GUYS KNOW, THE RECYCLING INDUSTRY IS JUST NOT PERFORMING IT'S, IT'S JUST REALLY EXPENSIVE TO RECYCLE THESE DAYS.

SO EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1ST OF THIS YEAR, I HAD TO INCREASE THE COST OF COMMERCIAL RECYCLING COLLECTIONS.

OH BOY.

YEAH.

UH, AND THAT'S THE COVER, THE COST OF THE CITY, YOU KNOW, IT'S, IT'S, IT'S JUST GETTING REALLY EXPENSIVE.

UM, THE, THE BUYERS, THE PEOPLE THAT ARE ACTUALLY BUYING RECYCLABLES, THEY'RE GETTING REALLY STRICT WITH WHAT THEY PURCHASE.

SO, UM, THAT'S JUST THE WAY THAT, YOU KNOW, THE INDUSTRY IS.

SO, UM, OTHER THAN THAT, UH, WE COLLECTED 14,000 TONS.

THIS FISCAL YEAR FROM SEPTEMBER, 2019 THROUGH, UH, OCTOBER, I'M SORRY, FROM OCTOBER, 2019 THROUGH SEPTEMBER TWO, 2020

[00:30:01]

14,000 TONS OF RECYCLABLES.

SO THAT'S AN INCREASE OF ABOUT A THOUSAND TONS IN COMPARISON TO THE PREVIOUS FISCAL YEAR.

SO IT'S A GOOD THING THAT PEOPLE ARE RECYCLING.

THAT'S A HUGE INCREASE, A THOUSAND TONS OVER A 12 MONTH PERIOD.

IT'S A LOT, BUT, YOU KNOW, UH, IT'S, IT'S QUITE EXPENSIVE.

UM, IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER IF RECYCLING PRICES THAT HAVE GONE UP WELL, EXACTLY.

YOU KNOW, IT'S LIKE ANYTHING ELSE EVENTUALLY, UH, I BELIEVE THAT, UH, THERE WILL BE A MARKET FOR RECYCLABLES AND EVENTUALLY I BELIEVE THE CITY WILL MAKE MONEY, NOT ANYTIME SOON, BUT I THINK IT WILL HAPPEN.

YEAH.

I THINK GETTING A COUPLE OF YEARS MAYBE.

YEAH, YEAH.

YOU KNOW, THERE'S, THERE'S SOME PAPER MILLS STARTED BEING BUILT RIGHT NOW.

SO, UM, SO I, I AGREE WITH YOU TWO, MAYBE THREE YEARS FROM NOW, THERE WILL BE A MARKET AND WE MAYBE WE'LL BE ABLE TO BREAK, BREAK EVEN IF NOT MAKE SOME MONEY.

THE BEST BET FOR GARLAND WOULD BE IF, IF THERE WAS A PROCESSING PLANT IN MARYLAND FOR SOME OF THESE RECYCLERS, BECAUSE THE FUEL COSTS, I MEAN, WHILE THEY'RE NICE THIS YEAR, WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE.

AND I DON'T KNOW IF EVERYBODY ELSE IS AWARE, BUT CITIES AND LARGE CORPORATIONS SIGN FOR A FUEL PRICE FOR THE YEAR BEFORE THE YEAR STARTS, GENERALLY COME TO AN AGREEMENT.

AND THIS YEAR I KNOW MANY COMPANIES COULD GO BUY FUEL OUTSIDE OF THAT CONTRACT AND SAVE MONEY.

OF COURSE, THE PAY THEIR TWO 78, A GALLON OR WHATEVER THEY AGREED TO THAT ALSO ADDS TO THE COSTS.

NINE, ALL THESE MATERIALS ARE TRANSFERRED TO GRAND PRAIRIE.

I THINK THAT'S A, THAT'S A LOT OF GAS.

YES, SIR.

I THINK THE PAPER, PAPER, CARDBOARD CROP IS DOING THEIRS HERE, BUT THAT'S, I THINK THAT'S THE ONLY THING THAT PAPER CARDBOARD, I DON'T KNOW OF ANYTHING ELSE THAT THEY, UH, THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING ELSE ON GARLAND.

THEY COLLECT IT, BUT THEY DON'T PROCESS IT.

I KNOW PEOPLE THAT WERE WANTING TO BUILD PROCESSING PLANTS, BUT THE CITY WASN'T TOO INTERESTED.

SO THEY GOT ONE IN 40.

YEP.

YEAH.

JOHN, I DON'T KNOW IF YOU SAW MY EMAIL.

I REACHED OUT TO THEM.

THEY'RE NOT DOING ANY PUBLIC PORTS RIGHT NOW.

YEAH.

THAT'S WHAT I HEARD.

I TALKED TO THEM AND YOU KNOW, THEY'RE JUST SAYING, IT'S JUST NOT WORTH THE RISK.

EXACTLY.

THEY'RE JUST SAYING, WE'RE JUST NOT GOING TO DO IT ANYMORE, BUT THAT'S A LOCAL BE A LOCAL, UH, EXCURSION.

I THINK THAT THAT'S A FASCINATING PROCESS OF TURNING PAPER INTO CARDBOARD.

THEY CERTAINLY HAD THE FACILITIES OUT IN FORMULA TO DO IT.

AND THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE CURRENTLY DOING.

SO MORE POWER TO THEM.

YEAH.

ALL RIGHT.

WELL, THAT'S IT FOR RECYCLING? I THINK NEXT IS YOUR JOHN.

DO WE HAVE ANY WATER CONSERVATION? YES, SIR.

UH, NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, UH, IS REALLY BANGING THE DOORS OUT THERE GETTING THEIR, UH, RESERVOIR READY.

THEY'RE ON SCHEDULE.

A MATTER OF FACT, LAST I SAW THEY'RE ACTUALLY BUILDING A BUNK HOUSE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OR A, NOT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, BUT THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, PLUS ALL THE OTHER CONSTRUCTION THAT THEY'RE DOING TO ACTUALLY BUILD THAT, GET THAT FACILITY UP AND RUNNING.

THEY'RE PUTTING IN PIPELINES THAT BRIDGES ACROSS THE RESERVOIR NOW HAS COMPLETED.

UH, THEY HAVE BEEN, THEY'RE STAYING ON SCHEDULE ON BUDGET AND THAT'S GOING TO BE A 30, 30 YEAR, UM, THE FIRST RESERVOIR IN 30 YEARS IN DALLAS COUNTY.

AND I DON'T THINK IT'S GOING TO COME ANY TOO SOON BECAUSE WE ARE USING WATER IS SUCH A PRECIOUS COMMODITY.

AND WE, AND THE NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT USE LITERALLY MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF GALLONS OF WATER EVERY DAY.

SO THIS RESERVOIR IS GOING TO BE A WELCOME ADDITION TO THE OTHER, UH, LAVONNE, UH, WATER INPUT PLANTS THAT WENT OUT IN NORTH TEXAS.

SO IT'S GOING TO BE A REAL ASSET TO GET THIS THING ONLINE.

AND THEY'RE CERTAINLY WORKING DILIGENTLY.

UH, DOESN'T LOOK LIKE YOU'VE SLOWED DOWN ANY FOR THE COVID STUFF, HOW THEY DO IT.

I DON'T KNOW, BUT THEY ARE JUST REALLY PUTTING THAT THING TOGETHER, OUT THERE.

SO IT IS, UH, JUST A REALLY WONDERFUL PROJECT THAT IS GOING ON OUT THERE.

THE LEONARD, THE LEONARD INPUT TOWERS ARE COMING IN.

UH, LIKE I SAY, THEY'RE, THEY'RE STILL THROWING CONCRETE AND ABOUT A MILLION MORE YARDS, MORE CUBIC YARDS OF DIRT TO FINISH THE DAM.

THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY LARGE DIRT DAM.

AND SO IT'S THERE.

IT'S JUST GOING TO BE A REALLY A BIG PROJECT WHEN THEY GET THROUGH WITH IT.

AND SO PROUD TO TAKE MY HAT OFF TO THOSE GUYS.

UM, THE NEXT ITEM,

[00:35:01]

UM, CALEB AND I DISCUSSED RATHER THAN DISCUSSING NEIGHBORHOOD INVOLVEMENT, WHICH IS REALLY MOSTLY JUST A FEW HOS AND NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS.

WE WOULD TRY TO OPEN UP THE CONVERSATION TO THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY OF GARLAND.

WE ALL LIVE IN GARLAND.

WE ALL HAVE CERTAIN THINGS THAT JUST BUG US TO NO END ABOUT GARLAND.

AND PERHAPS MAYBE IF WE LOOKED AT, UH, AT SOME COMMUNITY WIDE THINGS, LACK OF SIDEWALKS, THE WAY THEY DO CONSTRUCTION, WHATEVER IT IS THAT THE THINGS DO BUGS, YOU LOOK AROUND YOUR DISTRICT.

AND I THINK AT THE NEXT MEETING, WE SHOULD ALL COMPARE NOTES ABOUT THINGS THAT, THAT, THAT MAYBE WE COULD MAKE A CHANGE IN.

UM, I KNOW, UM, SOME CODE COMPLIANCE ISSUES WHERE I LIVE IN SOUTH GARLAND ARE A BIG CONCERN.

DO THEY GET TIRED OF LOOKING AT THOSE BIG OLD READY TRUCKS WITH BANNERS ON THEM THAT PEOPLE PARK IN FRONT OF BUSINESSES TO USE THE SIGNS? THERE'S ALL KINDS OF LITTLE THINGS THAT I THINK TAKE GARLAND DOWN A LITTLE BIT, AND MAYBE WE COULD PROPOSE SOMETHING FOR ONCE TO THE CITY COUNCIL.

THEY COULD ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT, I DON'T KNOW IF ANYBODY HAS ANY THOUGHTS ON THAT, BUT THAT'S WHAT COMMUNITY IS ALL ABOUT TO ME.

AND, UH, IF YOU GUYS COME UP WITH A SPECIFIC ITEM THAT YOU KNOW THAT YOU GUYS WANT TO ADDRESS AT THE NEXT MEETING, I'LL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO REACH OUT TO THAT, TO, UH, TO A CD STAFF MEMBER, TO SEE WHAT RESOURCES TO SEE THAT CAN PROVIDE, WHETHER IT'S SOMETHING FOR THE COMMUNITY OR CODE COMPLIANCE, EWS PARTS.

SO YOU GUYS LET ME KNOW AND I'LL DEFINITELY REACH OUT TO THEM AND WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET SOMEONE TO, TO SEE WHAT KIND OF RESOURCES THEY CAN PROVIDE AN ASSIST WITH WITH THIS SPECIFIC ITEM.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANYTHING TOWARDS THAT END? WE HAVEN'T DONE A TRASH INDEX THIS YEAR.

I DON'T KNOW IF THAT'S ON THE AGENDA OR SOMETHING WE'RE GOING TO DO.

I DON'T THINK WE'LL BE RIDING IN A VAN TOGETHER THIS YEAR.

I DON'T THINK SO.

NO.

HEY BOB, IF, IF WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THINGS THAT DISTRICTS COULD USE, TWO THINGS DISTRICT, ONE COULD USE IS ONE IS A PARK, AT LEAST ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE TOLLWAY, CLOSEST ONES, WINNERS PARK, WHICH IS JUST FAR ENOUGH AWAY.

YOU'D HAVE TO GET IN YOUR CAR TO DRIVE OVER THERE.

AND THE SECOND ONE IS WE'VE GOT THE GOLF COURSE, BUT THEY DON'T WANT PEOPLE PLAYING ON THE GOLF COURSE.

AND THE SECOND ONE IS, UH, MAYBE SOME BIKE BIKE, BIKE TRAILS, BECAUSE I LIKE TO RIDE MY BIKE.

BUT ONCE YOU, YOU CAN'T REALLY GET OUT OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD CAUSE I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ON, BRING IT OR NORTH GARLAND AVENUE.

CAUSE I'M GOING TO GET RUN OVER ON EITHER ONE.

SO THAT WOULD HELP.

THOSE ARE TWO, TWO, TWO BIG THINGS ARE MISSING.

I KNOW IN OUR DISTRICT, I THINK, I THINK IN MINE TOO, UM, THE, ONE OF THE THINGS I NOTICED AND IT WOULD PROBABLY SET URIEL OFF A LITTLE BIT, BUT YOU KNOW, A LOT OF COMMUNITIES HAVE TRASH CANS AT BIG INTERSECTIONS THAT PEOPLE MISS AND THROW THEIR STUFF IN THE, IN THE STREET.

I KNOW THE WORST INTERSECTION IN MY AREA, IT WOULD BE CENTERVILLE AND BROADWAY AND THE TRASH.

THERE IS NOT NECESSARILY ALWAYS JUST PEOPLE THROWING TRASH OUT THE WINDOW, BUT THE BUSINESSES DON'T HAVE ADEQUATE BUNKERS AROUND THEIR DUMPSTERS OR THEIR DUMPSTERS ARE CONTINUALLY OVERFLOWED PEOPLE.

DON'T EMPTY THE TRASH CANS AND THE COMMERCIAL AREAS.

AND YOU KNOW, I DON'T KNOW IF THERE'S ANYTHING WE COULD DO ABOUT, BUT IT SURE WOULD BE WORTH LOOKING INTO BECAUSE IT ADDS TO THE STORM WATER PROBLEMS AND THE LIQUOR PROBLEMS ALL OVER THE CITY.

YEAH.

WE CAN DEFINITELY LOOK INTO THEM TODAY.

I ALMOST CALLED URIEL BECAUSE I'M DRIVING DOWN KINGSLEY AND THERE'S A BUSINESS THERE WITH, I DON'T KNOW, FIVE YARD, UM, UM, DUMPSTER AND IT SITS ON THE SIDEWALK AS SHIT AND OH, I KNOW IT SHOULDN'T BUT THERE, YOU SAID A CD OF GARLIN DUMPSTER BECAUSE A BIG BLUE ONE, THE CITY OF GARLAND IS AN OPEN MARKET FOR WASTE COLLECTION.

NO, IT'S GOT A CITY STICKER ON IT.

OKAY.

UM, WHERE IS IT? AND I CAN HAVE SOMEONE LOOK AT HER TOMORROW, BILLY AND SHILOH, JUST, UH, WEST OF THE INTERSECTION ON KINGSLEY.

THERE'S A CAR LOT.

THERE.

YOU CAN PRETTY WELL SEE IT FROM THE CORNER.

AND IT'S AN ON THE SIDEWALK.

I'M IN AS A KID, I TOOK THE BUS EVERYWHERE.

I HAD TO GO AND YOU GO HERE IN GARLAND AND THEY HAVE THE NICE TRAIN STATION.

THE PEOPLE TAKE THE TRAINS FROM THAT WALK FROM THERE, DON'T HAVE A SIDEWALK TO WALK AROUND.

YOU SEE THE LITTLE TRAILS THROUGH, WIND THEM THROUGH THE DIRT.

THERE ARE BUS STOPS IN GARLAND THAT THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO STAND IN THE MUD TO GET TO GO TO WORK.

I'LL HAVE SOMEONE LOOK INTO IT.

FIRST THING TOMORROW.

I REMEMBER THE THING, ONE OF THE THINGS THAT I WAS GOING TO COME IN ON IS THE NORTH GARLAND DARKS, DART, RAIL

[00:40:02]

PEOPLE.

I MEAN, YOU CAN SEE, LIKE YOU WERE SAYING, WELL, YOU CAN SEE THE TRAILS THAT THEY WALK JUST TO GET TO THE BUS.

THEY RIDE THEIR BICYCLES ON THE DIRT.

AND I DON'T KNOW.

I DON'T KNOW IF THERE'S ANYTHING ELSE THAT'S GOING TO BE BUILT IN THERE.

ONE SIDE IS THE DARK RAIL AND THE OTHER SIDE IS GOING TO BE A WALNUT.

AND SO I THINK IT CAN BE CONTAGION ON THE CITY TO BUILD A SIDEWALK IF YOU COULD JUST WALK UP THERE AND NOT HAVE TO GET THERE, WHATEVER.

YEAH.

YEAH.

I THINK IT'S REALLY DISRESPECTFUL FOR US AS A CITY TO EXPECT PEOPLE WHO ARE COUNTING ON PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO HAVE TO STAND IN MUD OR WALK THROUGH WET GRASS TO GET TRANSPORTATION.

I MEAN, YOU COULD LEAN ON DART.

THE CITY COULD CHANGE THE WAY THEY LET HIM PUT A BUS STOP IN.

IF YOUR BUS STOP, DOESN'T HAVE A, A CONCRETE PAD FOR PEOPLE TO STAND ON THEM.

YOU NEED ANOTHER BUS STOP.

AND I, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE ANSWER IS, BUT IT'S TERRIBLE THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO DO THAT.

I USED TO HAVE TO RIDE THE BUS WITH MY GRANDMOTHER TO WORK AND REMEMBER, YOU KNOW, GETTING ALL SLUSHED ON AND THINGS WHEN THE BUS WENT BY.

YEAH.

ANYWAY, THAT'S THE IDEA COMMUNITY.

LET'S SEE IF THERE ISN'T SOMETHING WE CAN DO FOR OUR COMMUNITY.

THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE RATHER THAN, YOU KNOW, LIKE BETTY LIVES IN A FANTASTIC NEIGHBORHOOD THAT WINS ALL KINDS OF AWARDS.

AND THERE ARE ALL KINDS OF GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS.

AND I DON'T WANT TO DISCOUNT ALL OF THOSE, BUT I WANT TO LOOK TO THE BROADER PART OF GARLAND, THE STUFF THAT'S NOT ALWAYS SO PRETTY THAT AFFECTS EVERYONE.

I THINK THAT'S KIND OF, WE ALL JOINED THIS TO MAKE A CHANGE OF SOME KIND OR TO CONTRIBUTE IN SOME WAY.

AND I THINK THIS IS A WAY MAYBE WE CAN DO THAT.

SO WE SHOULD EVERYBODY COME UP WITH A LIST AND MAYBE TALK OR EMAIL ME OR URIEL DURING THE, UH, TIME IN BETWEEN NOW AND THE NEXT MEETING.

AND WE'LL COME UP WITH A COUPLE OF TOPICS TO TALK ABOUT IT.

WE HAD SOME GREAT GREEN INITIATIVES AND THINGS THAT DIDN'T GET OFF THE GROUND.

AND I THINK THEY'RE PRETTY LOFTY.

MAYBE WE AIM FOR SOMETHING SIMPLE THAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH AND BUILD A LITTLE MOMENTUM FOR OURSELVES AS A GROUP.

ANY COMMENTS KAYLA? I SEE YOU STARING AT ME.

GOOD IDEA.

ALL RIGHT.

ALL RIGHT.

WELL THAT'S ALL I GOT.

UM, LET'S SEE, WHAT ELSE DO WE HAVE? OH, THE FAMOUS GREEN INITIATIVES.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANYTHING ABOUT THE GREEN INITIATIVES? DO WE WANT TO TAKE A LOOK, PICK ONE AND RUN WITH IT? ANYTHING YOU WANT TO DO WITH THAT? BECAUSE WE SEEM TO BE BRUSHING IT OVER EVERY, EVERY MEETING.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF EVERYBODY REMEMBERS THEM ALL.

I'M GOING TO GO WITH NO.

UH, I WOULD LIKE TO PROPOSE, UH, THAT WE BRING SOME SORT OF CONCLUSION OR AT LEAST IDENTIFY WHAT A CONCLUSION WOULD LOOK LIKE RATHER THAN JUST KEEP THEM OPEN.

UM, WE HAD TALKED QUITE A BIT ABOUT WHAT THE ONLY ONE THAT WE HAD REALLY TALKED QUITE A BIT ABOUT WAS THE ADOPTIVE SPOT AND PARKS.

YOU TALKED A GOOD BIT ABOUT THAT AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

UM, SOME SOMEWHAT SIMILAR FASHION.

SO I WONDER IF WE MIGHT, UH, IF SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE A SUGGESTION FOR, DO WE SAY WE'RE DONE WITH THE GREEN INITIATIVES? ARE THERE ANY THAT WE THINK HAVE MERIT THAT ARE REASONABLE FOR US TO ACCOMPLISH THAT WE WANT TO MOVE FORWARD WITH? OR IS IT FAIR FOR US TO KIND OF RESHIFT AND REFOCUS WHERE OUR ENERGIES ARE GOING TO BE AND, AND SOMETHING ELSE, IF THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE LIKE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT OR, OR, OR MAYBE THERE IS A PARTICULAR GREEN INITIATIVE THAT'S REASONABLE TO TRY TO EXPLAIN, FRANKLY, I THOUGHT ALL THE WAYS THAT THEY ADOPT A SPOT SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN DONE BY CAPE GARLAND, BEAUTIFUL.

AGAIN, CAN SPONSOR IT.

IT'S THE, CITY'S NOT REALLY REQUIRED TO DO IT, JUST SIGN UP FOR IT AND, AND GET IT MOVING IN IN ORDER TO GET THE CITY TO DO SOMETHING VOLUNTARILY LIKE THAT COULD TAKE ANOTHER YEAR TO MOVE ALONG WHERE KEEP GROWING BEAUTIFUL OR ANOTHER ORGANIZATION CAN PRETTY WELL JUST IT.

AND, UH, THAT, THAT'S MY THOUGHT ON THAT ONE.

THAT'S THE ONLY ONE THAT I THINK REALLY HAS ANYTHING WE CAN DO ON THE GREEN BUSINESS.

ONE KIND OF GOT SHUT DOWN RIGHT AFTER WE PROPOSED IT.

AND, UH, THE ADOPT A SPOT KIND OF DRAGGED AROUND.

SO MAYBE WE, AND SOME OF THE OTHER ONES WERE EVEN MORE LOFTY THAN, THAN THE GREEN BUSINESS ONE.

UH, AND, AND PRETTY, UH, PRETTY FAR REACHING, PRETTY DIFFICULT,

[00:45:01]

I THINK, TO ACCOMPLISH IN ANY REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME THAN IT IS.

YES.

THAT'S WHAT SPAWNED ME ONTO THE COMMUNITY THING.

MAYBE THERE'S SOMETHING OUT THERE.

I MEAN, THE COMMUNITY IS OUR ENVIRONMENT.

MAYBE THERE'S SOMETHING OUT THERE THAT WE CAN IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENT OF FOR EVERYBODY IN GARLAND AND WITH LITTLE OR NO EFFORT, JUST SOME THOUGHT, YOU KNOW, THERE ARE THINGS THE CITY GOES ON, YOUR DRIVERS GO OUT EVERY DAY AND DO EVERYTHING THEY HAVE TO DO.

AND HE FOCUSES ON KEEPING THAT AND DOESN'T REALLY GET TO NOTICE ALL THE OTHER THINGS THAT MAYBE ARE REFLECT ON HIS DEPARTMENT.

AND THAT'S THE SAME FOR STREETS, PARKS, EVERYBODY.

AND WE ARE THOSE PEOPLE WHO VOLUNTEERED TO KIND OF POINT THESE THINGS OUT TO THESE DEPARTMENTS AND REAL WOMEN SAID, HEY, DID YOU GUYS EVEN REALIZE THIS WAS HAPPENING? I MEAN, CHRIS IS NEW.

THE GUY PARKS IS NEW.

THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR US.

I THINK HE'S THOUGHT IT WAS MILDLY EXCITED FOR THE HOUR THERE.

CALEB AND I TALKED ABOUT IT AND GUYS KEEP IN MIND THAT, YOU KNOW, IF YOU DECIDE TO STOP THE GREEN INITIATIVES FOR NOW, YOU CAN ALWAYS GO BACK TO THEM.

YOU KNOW, IF I, IF AT ANY TIME, YOU KNOW, YOU DECIDE, OKAY, WHERE WE'VE PUT ENOUGH TIME AND EFFORT INTO COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, LET'S GO BACK TO THE GREEN INITIATIVES.

YOU GUYS CAN DO THAT AT ANY TIME.

OKAY.

WELL, THAT'S ALL I'VE GOT ON THE GREEN INITIATIVES.

I THINK EVERYBODY TAKE A LOOK, WE'LL DECIDE THAT THE NEXT MEETING, WHAT TO TABLE AND WHAT NOT TO, UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO IT NOW.

YEAH.

I THINK THAT'S A GOOD IDEA.

MAYBE WE COULD JUST BECAUSE IT'S BEEN WHAT, SIX MONTHS SINCE WE REALLY SERIOUSLY TALKED ABOUT IT, JUST MAYBE A LITTLE BRIEF SUMMARY OF EACH ONE, IT WILL JUST DO THUMBS UP, THUMBS DOWN ON EACH OF THEM.

DOES THAT SOUND REASONABLE? LET'S PUT THAT ON THE AGENDA FOR NEXT MONTH.

OKAY.

AND THEN I DON'T THINK WE HAVE, UH, THAT IS A FUTURE AGENDA ITEM.

DO WE HAVE ANY OTHERS? I THOUGHT THE OTHER FUTURE AGENDA ITEM WAS TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ON THINGS THAT WE'D LIKE TO SEE IN OUR DISTRICT.

OH, ABSOLUTELY.

I JUST DIDN'T KNOW IF ANYBODY HAD ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT, YOU KNOW, ROBERT SPENDS THIS ALL THIS TIME TALKING DURING THESE THINGS THAT HE'S ALWAYS GOT THESE GREAT IDEAS.

SO I WAS HOPING THEY HAD ANOTHER ONE FOR THIS ONE BEFORE.

THAT WAS ALL BROKEN UP FOR ME.

YEAH, SAME HERE.

I CAN UNDERSTAND THAT BEFORE LIGHTING.

NO, WE HAVE NEVER DISCUSSED LIGHTING.

AND, AND YOU KNOW, IF YOU TALK ABOUT IT, I LIVE IN A NEIGHBORHOOD.

MY HOUSE IS OVER 50 YEARS OLD, BETTY LIVES IN AN OLDER NEIGHBORHOOD DELIGHTING IN THE OLDER NEIGHBORHOODS.

I KIND OF LIKE IT DARK, BUT I ALSO DON'T SEE, SO DAMN GOOD ANYMORE.

I COULD GO EITHER WAY ON LIGHTING.

YEAH.

I'LL PUT THINKING JUST THAT THE AD, UH, BOB, TO KIND OF WHAT YOU WERE SAYING, IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA, UM, TO, TO REACH TO THE, YOUR COUNCIL PERSON.

BECAUSE I, I, YOU KNOW, I, I LIVE IN ONE PARTICULAR PARTY DISTRICT SIX, BUT DISTRICT SIX COVERS A HUGE GEOGRAPHICALLY.

IT COVERS QUITE A BIT OF LAND AND THERE'S A LOT OF PARTS OF DISTRICT SIX I NEVER GET AROUND TO.

AND SO I MIGHT BE SPEAKING FOR MAYBE MY NEIGHBORHOOD PEOPLE THAT I TALKED TO, BUT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO, I KNOW I'M GOING TO HAVE TO TALK TO ROBERT JUST TO TOUCH BASE WITH HIM AND SAY, HEY, WHAT ARE SOME OTHER AREAS THAT LIKE, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT.

OTHER PEOPLE IN DISTRICT SIX WE'LL DEFINITELY WANT TO ADDRESS.

YEAH.

WELL, MY, MY CONCERT PERSON LIVES TWO DOORS DOWN.

SO, UH, HE'S GOING TO HAVE THE SAME POINT OF VIEW ON THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT I HAVE, BUT I'LL ASK HIM, UM, IS THERE ANYTHING THAT PEOPLE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THAT MAYBE WE COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT PLEASE? SOMETHING I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING AFTER ALL THIS TIME BETTY'S BEEN ON HERE FOR LIKE SIX AND A HALF FOREVER AND YOU KNOW, SHE COULD ACCOMPLISH THOSE THINGS.

I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING SINCE I GOT HERE.

SO IT'D BE LOVELY TO BE ABLE TO PROPOSE SOMETHING THAT MADE A CHANGE.

AND JUST REMEMBER THAT IF YOU DO FIND SOMETHING THAT YOU WANT TO PROPOSE, LET ME KNOW, BECAUSE LIKE I SAID, WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN.

IF YOU GO TO YOUR ELECTED OFFICIAL, THEY'RE GOING TO GO TO THE DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR.

AND THEN THE DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR IS MOST LIKELY GOING TO COME BACK AND TALK TO YOU GUYS.

SO IT'LL, IF YOU GUYS TELL ME I'LL BE DOING THE SAME THING TO YOU, IT'S JUST AN OPTION.

I WOULD LOVE TO FIND OUT ACTUALLY ABOUT WHAT I STOOD AT FIRST ABOUT.

AT WHAT POINT DO YOU STOP LETTING PEOPLE PARK DERELICT VEHICLES TO PUT SIGNS ON THEM.

AND THEN, AND, UM, YOU KNOW, I RIDE TO KINGSLEY FROM SOUTH GARLAND TO JUPITER EVERY DAY.

[00:50:01]

AND THERE ARE A LOT OF THEM, YOU KNOW, FLAT TIRES AND IT'S, IT'S HORRIBLE.

YEAH.

AND THAT'S DEFINITELY A CODE COMPLIANCE THING.

AND I HATE TO PICK ON THEM, BUT BECAUSE THEY SEEM UNDERSTAFFED AND EVERYTHING, BUT MAYBE THEY NEED A COMMERCIAL CODE COMPLIANCE OFFICER HAVE A DIVISION THAT ONLY ADDRESSES COMMERCIAL CODE ISSUES.

AWESOME.

I'LL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TALK TO THE MANAGER AND HE CAN JOIN US NEXT MONTH.

NEXT MONTH.

HE LIKE, OKAY, NEXT, NEXT MONTH I MAY BE AT THE PRO RODEO SHOW, UM, DURING THIS TIME.

BUT, UH, I'LL STAY IN TOUCH WITH CALEB.

AND I DUNNO IF I'LL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT OR NOT.

OKAY.

HERE I LEAVE ME TO RUN THE SHOW, MAN.

I AM GOING TO SEND YOU THE POINTY HAT.

I WAS GOING TO WEAR IT, BUT I'M TOO TALL.

YEAH, YEAH.

YEAH.

WELL, THAT'S, YOU KNOW WHO, IT'S JUST NOT THE GUY THAT FILLS UP THE ENTIRE SCREEN, BUT THE GUY WITH THE POINTY HAT IS THE GUY WHO'S IN CHARGE OF THIS WEEK.

I REALIZE WE'RE ON TV AND I'M TERRIBLY SORRY, PLEASE.

SO GUYS, ONCE AGAIN, W WE HAVE ANOTHER MONTH TO REALLY SIT DOWN AND THINK ABOUT THE ITEMS THAT YOU WANT TO GET ON THE AGENDA.

SO SEND ME AN EMAIL, SEND BOB AN EMAIL.

I'LL PUT SOMETHING TOGETHER.

I'LL SEND YOU GUYS WELL IN ADVANCE SO YOU CAN LOOK AT IT AND, UH, IT WILL JUST GO, YOU KNOW, ONE, ONE MEETING AT A TIME.

ALL RIGHT.

I'M GOOD.

DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANYTHING ELSE? UM, I DON'T THINK THERE'S ANY, UM, CITIZENS' COMMENTS.

UH, WE HAVE A CITIZEN LISTENING RIGHT NOW.

OH, I'M IN TROUBLE.

OH, HELLO, JASON COMMENTS.

YOU HAVE THREE MINUTES.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADDRESS THE BOARD, JUST PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE BOARD IS NOT ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT OR RESPOND TO THE QUESTIONS.

SO CAN YOU HEAR ME? YES, WE CAN.

SO I WAS ASKED TO ATTEND TONIGHT BY, UH, DISTRICT SEVENS COUNCIL MEMBER AS A POTENTIAL REPLACEMENT FOR THE PERSON WHO WAS ON THIS BOARD, WHO IS NO LONGER ON THE BOARD FOR DISTRICT SEVEN.

SO BASICALLY I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO WHAT EVERYBODY'S BEEN TALKING ABOUT, TRYING TO DETERMINE, YOU KNOW, THROUGH MY THOUGHT PROCESSES, WHETHER OR NOT I MIGHT WANT TO SUGGEST TO HIM THAT YES, I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO REPRESENT DISTRICT SEVEN ON THIS BOARD.

SO A LOT, I APPRECIATE A LOT OF WHAT PEOPLE HAVE TALKED ABOUT TONIGHT.

I'M WOULD FIND MYSELF PARTICULARLY INTERESTED ABOUT THE ONE COMMENT ABOUT LIGHTING, BECAUSE THAT'S ONE THING THAT I HOLD NEAR AND DEAR TO MY HEART.

UH, MY BACKGROUND IS IN ENGINEERING.

I ALSO HAVE TAUGHT ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL.

SO I'VE GOT A LOT, I MEAN, I'VE GOT BACKGROUND IN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, NOT NECESSARILY URBAN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, BUT I THINK I COULD, I WOULD HOPE THAT I COULD CONTRIBUTE SOME THINGS, UH, TO THIS DISCUSSIONS THAT GO ON IN THE FUTURE.

SO THAT'S MY ONLY, THAT'S MY ONLY COMMENT.

SORRY, CAN YOU GIVE US YOUR NAME AND YOUR ADDRESS FOR THE RECORD PLEASE? UH, MY NAME IS JOHN J O H N SANS, S A N S.

UH, MY ADDRESS IS TWO ZERO ZERO FOUR OSPREY LANE, AND THAT'S SEVEN FIVE OH FOUR FOUR.

THAT'S THE SHOAL CREEK TOWNHOMES AT, UH, NAMING FOREST AND CAMPBELL.

ALL RIGHT, WELL, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

THANK YOU FOR JOINING US TONIGHT.

THANK YOU, BOB.

BACK TO YOU.

WELL, I THINK THAT'S ALL WE GOT.

I'M GLAD TO HAVE SOMEBODY TAKE THE DISTRICT SEVEN SPOT OTHER FLOOR THAT COMES UP.

IT LOOKS LIKE OUR NEXT MEETING IS DECEMBER 9TH AT SEVEN O'CLOCK.

AND AS I MENTIONED, I MAY OR MAY NOT BE HERE, BUT I WILL LET EVERYBODY KNOW AHEAD OF TIME.

UM, I THINK THAT'S IT.

ANYBODY READY TO GO? ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU EVERYONE.

GOOD.
