IT'S DUE TO DEMAND INCREASED DEMAND ON THEIR SYSTEM. THE PROPERTY IS UNDER CONTRACT CURRENTLY WITH THE CITY OF GARLAND AND WITH THE PROVISION FOR CLOSING OF APPROVAL OF A SPECIFIC USE PROVISION, THE PROJECT, OF COURSE, IT'S INTERCONNECTED ONLY TO THE GARLAND POWER & LIGHT FACILITY AND THE CITY WILL ALSO REALIZE THE BENEFIT OF POWER SALES, THE TRANSMISSION LEVEL TO RAYBURN ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE. THIS DUAL PURPOSE, OF COURSE, WE HAVE LIGHTNING SHIELDING, AN ARRAY OF CABLES OVER THE SUBSTATION TO PROVIDE PROTECT AGAINST DIRECT LIGHTNING STRIKES. THAT WILL ALSO SUPPORT TWO SMALL COMMUNICATION DISHES ON THE ORDER OF THREE FEET IN DIAMETER. A PATH STUDY DETERMINED WE NEEDED 120 FEET TO COMMUNICATE TO RAYBURN'S OPERATIONS CENTER IN ROCKWALL. AND THE CONTROL AND OPERATION OF THE SUBSTATION AS WELL AS DATA EXCHANGE WILL BE VIA THAT LINK. SO. THING I'D SAY ABOUT THAT POLE, SO TUBULAR STEEL IS VERY SIMILAR TO TRANSMISSION STRUCTURES YOU SEE ALL OVER TOWN AND ROADWAYS ADJACENT TO PROPERTIES. THIS HAS VERY, VERY STRINGENT DESIGN STANDARDS, WIND SPEED, 110 MILES AN HOUR WITH SAFETY FACTORS AND LOAD FACTORS. ON TOP OF THAT, IN THE EVENT OF A DIRECT TORNADO STRIKE. SO IF ONE WAS KIND OF ALL WOULD FAIL, TYPICALLY THE THIRD TO HALF WAY UP THE POLE AND FOLD OVER RATHER THAN LAYING ACROSS THE ROAD INTO, YOU KNOW, AND INTO POTENTIALLY OTHER PROPERTIES. THE POLE IS SET BACK SIXTY SIX FEET FROM THE RIGHT OF WAY, THE NORTHERLY RIGHT OF WAY OF THE ROAD THERE.
