AND THAT'S PRIMARILY RESPONSIBLE FOR A COUPLE OF REASONS. ONE, FOR ALL THE PROJECTS THAT WE'RE DOING THROUGHOUT TOWN CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AND THEN THE OVERLAY PROJECTS THAT REALLY WE'RE OVERLAYING THAT THAT GENERALLY REDUCES THE AMOUNT OF THAT HAS HELPED REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF POTHOLE REPAIR REQUESTS THAT WE'VE GOTTEN. THIS IS KIND OF A THIS IS A HEAT MAP OF THE CITY THAT'S CREATED FROM OUR CARTOGRAPH SYSTEM. AS YOU CAN SEE, WE'VE BEEN DOING A LOT OF THE DARK YELLOW AREAS ARE THOSE AREAS WHERE WE'RE DOING A LOT OF PATCHING. AND YOU'LL SEE THAT WE HAVE A PRETTY, PRETTY ACTIVE PATCHING PROGRAM GOING ON. AND THAT'S BECAUSE IT'S OF ALL THAT EFFORTS GOING MORE TOWARDS THE MAJOR PATCHES AND TOWARDS THE OVERLAYS, WHICH IS REDUCING OUR INDIVIDUAL POTHOLE COSTS. AND OUR BUDGET THIS YEAR WE'RE TRENDING ON OUR MAINTENANCE BUDGET, WE'RE TRENDING A LITTLE LOW, BUT THE OVERLAYS TEND TO BE MORE OF A SUMMER ACTIVITY, SO THAT ACTIVITY, THAT SPENDING LINE IS NOT ALWAYS A TRUE STRAIGHT LINE. AND WE WE GIVE THAT MORE IN THE SUMMER MONTHS WHEN WE'VE GOT OBVIOUSLY BETTER WEATHER AND GENERALLY LACK OF RAIN IN THE SUMMER MONTHS THAT WE CAN REALLY GET AFTER THE OVERLAYS. THE CONSTRUCTION, ONCE AGAIN, WE'VE GOT THE STRAIGHT RECONSTRUCTION OF A CONCRETE SLAB REPAIR THE ALLEY CONSTRUCTION AND REPAIR AND OF COURSE, THE LEVEL LIFTING. BUT WE ARE ACTUALLY THIS YEAR. WE ARE THROUGH A LITTLE AHEAD OF BUDGET BECAUSE WE'RE AND, YOU KNOW, LAST YEAR WE WERE DOWN A LITTLE BIT WITH THE WITH COVID, BUT WE REALLY PICKED IT UP THIS YEAR. AND WE'VE GOT A LOT OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AND A LOT OF CONTRACT PROJECTS THAT ARE ONGOING THERE THAT GOT A LOT OF THAT MONEY SPENT IN THE FIRST PART OF THE YEAR. FIVE YEAR, HERE'S JUST KIND OF A FIVE YEAR ROLLING ANALYSIS OF WHAT WE'RE DO, STARTING WITH WHEN WE REALLY KIND OF RAMPED UP WITH OUR OVERLAYS. YOU CAN SEE THAT WE HAVE WORKED ON TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE LANE MILES OF STREET REPAIR AND STREET CONSTRUCTION. THAT'S NINE AND A HALF PERCENT OF ALL THE TOTAL LANE MILES AND CITY HAVE GOTTEN SOME KIND OF ATTENTION IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS. WE WORKED ON TWENTY TWO POINT FOUR FIVE LANE MILES OF ALLEYS. THAT'S JUST SLIGHTLY LESS THAN SEVEN PERCENT OF THE TOTAL ALLEYS. AND THEN WITH THE ASPHALT OVERLAYS, WE HAVE WORKED ON SIX AND A HALF PERCENT OF THE LANE MILES. SO OF ALL THE STREETS AND ALLEYS IN OUR NETWORK, IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS, WE'VE DONE WORK ON A ROUGHLY ON 15 PERCENT OF THE STREETS. AND OUR ALLIES HAVE GOTTEN SOME KIND OF REPAIR AND OR OVERLAY AND OR RECONSTRUCTION. SO I THINK THAT'S A PRETTY GOOD ACCOMPLISHMENT FROM WHAT WE'VE BEEN DOING THERE. JUST THE ESTIMATES OF WHAT WE'RE GOING WHERE WE'RE REALLY FOCUSING MORE ON THE STREETS RIGHT NOW. STREET REPAIR AND STREET RECONSTRUCTION AND DOING A LITTLE WORK ON THE ALLEYS, BUT NOT NEARLY AS MUCH RIGHT NOW. LIKE I SAY, THE THE CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM RAMPED UP FROM THE CARTOGRAPH PROGRAM THAT WE IMPLEMENTED IN JULY OF 2018. IN OUR CURRENT PROGRAM, WE ADDED A FOURTH YEAR. WE ADDED THE 2020 INTO OUR PROGRAM AND WE'VE ACTUALLY ADDED SOME WORK IN 2021. [00:20:02] WE HAVE INSPECTED ALL OF OUR STREETS AND ALLEYS AND WE'RE PUTTING TOGETHER RIGHT NOW. WE JUST MET THIS MORNING ON OUR FINALIZING, TRYING TO FINALIZING AND GETTING OUR LIST TO THE UTILITY COMPANIES TO EVALUATE WHICH PARTICULARLY WATER AND SEWER DETERMINE WHICH WATER AND SEWER PROJECTS ARE GOING TO GET REPAIRED. SO WE'RE HOPING THAT THAT BY JULY, THAT'S PROBABLY MAYBE A LITTLE OPTIMISTIC, BECAUSE I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT THEY'RE STILL A COUPLE MORE WEEKS OF WORK. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING TO DO IS WHEN WE'RE WORKING IN AREAS WHERE WE'VE ESTABLISHED OUR PROGRAM. AND THE ONES THAT DO BASED ON NEED, WE'RE TRYING TO LOOK AT THE ALLEYS IN THOSE AREAS AND ALLEYS AND STREETS IN THOSE AREAS WHERE THEY MAY NOT BE COMPLETELY FAILED. IT MAY NOT BE A ZERO ALLEY, BUT IF WE'RE WORKING ON A COUPLE OF ALLEYS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND THIS ONE'S SLIGHTLY LESS WARPED BUT COULD WARRANT CONSTRUCTION, WE'RE TRYING TO THE PACKAGE AND LOOK MORE AT NEIGHBORHOOD SCENARIOS SO THAT WHEN WE'RE BUILDING STUFF, WHEN WE'RE CONSTRUCTING STUFF, WE'RE NOT GOING TO GET THE CALL FROM. WHY DIDN'T YOU KNOW? WHY AREN'T YOU WORKING ON MY ALLEY? YOU WORKED ON THE OTHER ONE. IT'S A LITTLE WORSE. AND SOMETIMES IT'S HARD TO EXPLAIN TO CITIZENS KIND OF HOW THAT EVALUATION PROCESS TAKES PLACE. BUT THE SCENARIO BUILDER IS ALLOWING US TO DO A LOT BETTER PROJECTIONS, JUST KIND OF SOME HIGHLIGHTS. WE DID COMPLETE A MAJOR ASPHALT REHABILITATION ON THE ROAD TO, ON THE ROUTE TO THE HINTON LANDFILL IN SACHSE. THIS YEAR, DALLAS COUNTY HAS FUNDED 50 PERCENT OF PROJECT COSTS. AND WE HAVE DONE THE LAST MILE. WE'RE REALLY SEEING A GOOD RESULTS FROM THAT LAST MILE PROJECT WHERE WE'RE GOING IN AND JUST KNOCKING OUT SLABS WHERE AREAS THAT HAVE BEEN REPAIRED MULTIPLE TIMES ARE GOING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. STREETS ARE IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE AND GETTING THE ONE OR TWO SPOTS THAT ARE IN BAD CONDITION AND TAKING CARE OF THEM. SO AND THEN THE WE BEGIN THE TRANSITION, WE HAVE BEGAN THE TRANSITION TO THE RESIDENTIAL SIDEWALK COST REPAIR SHARED PROGRAM AND THE ARTERIAL CALLS COLLECTOR SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM IN OCTOBER OF THIS YEAR. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING OUR OWN SEPARATE CONTRACT FOR THAT PROJECT SO THAT WE WILL NOT HAVE TO RELY ON THE LARGER CONTRACT WITH THE PROCESS AREN'T NECESSARILY AS GOOD BECAUSE IT'S MORE FOCUSED ON THE STREET CONSTRUCTION. BECAUSE SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROGRAM WE WERE FULLY TRANSITIONED, WE'RE REALLY AND UNFORTUNATELY, WE'RE BEHIND SCHEDULE ON THAT TRANSITION. WE DO HAVE ALL THE PERSONNEL IN PLACE THAT WE'VE HIRED TO DO THAT. WE ACTUALLY THE NEW THE ACTUAL THE STREET TECHNICIAN WAS PROMOTED TO THE SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT. SO HE'S KIND OF TRAINING HIS REPLACEMENT, SOMEONE. WE'RE WORKING WITH THE FINANCE AND ENGINEERING TO MANAGE THE FINANCIAL ASPECT. THAT'S PART OF THE PROBLEM IS I THINK EVERYONE AGREED THAT WE DIDN'T WANT TO GET IN THE MONEY TAKING BUSINESS. SO WE'RE WORKING ON THE LOGISTICS OF THE FINANCIAL ASPECT OF THAT STILL. BUT WE ARE EVALUATING OUR REQUEST FOR ABILITY BASED ON THE NEWLY REVISED ORDINANCE. I'D SAY WE HOPE TO GO OUT TO BID NEXT MONTH WITH THE SIDEWALK CONTRACT. AND BUT WE ARE IF WE RUN ACROSS THINGS THAT DO NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION, WE DO HAVE THE ABILITY TO TAKE CARE OF THOSE. AND WE ARE TAKING CARE OF THOSE. AND WE HAVE BEGIN EVALUATING ALL OF OUR ARTERIAL INDUSTRIAL AND [INAUDIBLE] SIDEWALKS THAT DETERMINE THE SYSTEM WIDE REPLACEMENT NEEDS, BUT AND DEVELOP THE PRIORITY NEEDS. BUT WITH OVER 400 MILES OF SIDEWALKS ON THESE STREETS, IT'S GOING TO TAKE US A WHILE TO GET DOING, TO COMPLETE THAT EVALUATION. BUT WE ARE ALSO COORDINATING WITH ENGINEERING, TRANSPORTATION, PARKS AND GISD. THEY ARE STILL LOOKING AT THE NEW SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION NEEDS AND ENGINEERING IS STILL ADMINISTERING THOSE NEW SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION NEEDS, WHICH A LOT OF THOSE ARE ROUTE TO SCHOOL BASED LOCATIONS OR LOCATIONS WHERE YOU'LL SEE THE KIND OF THE COW PATH WORN WHERE PEOPLE ARE ALREADY WALKING. SO IT'S LOOKING TO TRY TO FILL THOSE GAPS IN. THE UNPAVED ALLEY WE HAVE, AS WE SAY, WE HAVE 986 UNPAVED ALLEY SEGMENTS AND THAT'S A LITTLE OVER NINETY FOUR MILES OF LANE AND THEN ABOUT NINETY FOUR MILES OF ALLEYS, THE THREE AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS THAT WAS APPROVED IN THE ELECTION WOULD FUND APPROXIMATELY THREE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR, AND THEY'LL PAVE US APPROXIMATELY FOUR POINT ONE ALLEYS. THE MAP THAT WE CREATED GOING BACK TO 2014, THAT THE NUMBER OF SEGMENTS THAT WE HAVE THAT WE'RE LOOKING AT SEGMENTS THAT HAVE THREE REPAIR REQUESTS, TWO REPAIR REQUESTS, ONE REPAIR REQUEST. AND SO BUT THE INTERESTING THING I FOUND OUT WHEN WE WERE EVALUATING, WE'RE TRYING TO PUT TOGETHER A REAL QUICK PACKAGE OF ALLEYS THAT WE COULD JUST GO OUT AND PAVE. BUT NEARLY EVERY ONE OF THOSE HAS A SANITARY SEWER IN IT. AND UNFORTUNATELY, MOST OF THOSE SEWER LINES ARE PRETTY. OLD AND MOST OF THEM ARE GOING TO HAVE TO BE REPLACED. [00:25:03] AS A MATTER OF FACT, WE'RE CURRENTLY COORDINATING WITH THREE PROJECTS WITH THE WATER DEPARTMENT TO GET UNPAVED ALLEYS PAVED IN CONJUNCTION WITH WHERE THEY WERE ALREADY GOING TO BE REPLACING SANITARY SEWER MAIN. THAT'S THE CELESTE VISTA ALLEY, THE CLIFF RITA ALLEY AND THE LEWIS RANDOLPH ALLEY. SO THOSE SHOULD BE THEY'RE IN THE DESIGN STAGE NOW. SO THAT SHOULD BE GOING TO BID PROBABLY LATER THIS YEAR. AND THEN, YOU KNOW, THE GOAL HERE IS TO TAKE CARE OF THOSE KNOWN REALLY DRAINAGE AND RUNNING PROBLEMS IN OUR UNPAVED ALLEYS. THAT'S OUR FOCUS INITIALLY. AND THIS I'M NOT GOING TO GO INTO ANY DETAIL HERE, BUT THIS I HAVE JUST INCLUDED, JUST FOR YOUR EDIFICATION, THIS IS JUST THE LIST STARTING FROM 19-20 OF ALL THE PROJECTS THAT WE HAVE COMPLETED IN THE LAST TWO YEARS. SO AS YOU CAN SEE, THERE'S A PRETTY LONG LIST OF STREETS. AND THEN WHEN WE GET TO THIS PROJECT HERE, THIS IS WHERE WE'RE IN OUR CURRENT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. THE ONES THAT WE HAVE SCHEDULED A LOT OF THESE FUTURE ONES IN THE ALLEY, THERE IS A BIG ALLEY PACKAGE THAT WE JUST RECEIVED AND 90 PERCENT PLANS ON. AND SO WE SHOULD GO OUT TO BID FOR THAT IN JUNE AND GET UNDER CONSTRUCTION, PROBABLY EARLY FALL THERE. AND ALL THOSE ALLEYS ARE PART OF THAT CONSTRUCTION. THE ONES THAT ARE LISTED AS FUTURE ARE PART OF THAT CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM. AND THEN WE'VE GOT THE LIST OF STREETS THAT WE'VE GOT ONGOING AND THE ONES THAT WE'RE GOING THAT WE ARE WORKING ON AND WILL BE WORKING ON THE REMAINDER OF THIS YEAR. THIS IS OUR THESE ARE OUR REPAIR PROJECTS THAT WE HAVE ONGOING AND SCHEDULED AND THEN THE SOME OF THE MAJOR, THE ONES WHERE WE'RE GIVING PROJECTS, SOME OF THESE ARE ITEMS THAT ARE OVERLAY AND THEN WE GET THE OVERLAY LIST. AND AS YOU CAN SEE, THERE'S BEEN PRETTY EXTENSIVE OVERLAY LIST. THIS GOES BACK NOW. THIS GRAPH RIGHT HERE GOES BACK TO OUR ORIGINAL CALCULATION OF WHERE ` WE ARE WITH THE PCI. WHEN WE LOOKED AT GETTING THE INCREASED FUNDING BACK IN 2013, WHEN WE WERE SEEING THE DECREASE IN THE PCI AND THE OCI FOR OUR STREETS, AS YOU CAN SEE, IT KIND OF BOTTOMED OUT IN T2018 AND IT IS AND IT HAS CURVED BACK UP AND YOU CAN SEE ACTUALLY WE'RE AHEAD OF THE RED LINES ARE THE EXISTING, THE YELLOW LINES ARE THE YELLOW/ORANGE LINES ARE THE WHERE THE PROJECTED OCI WAS AND YOU CAN SEE IN '21 WE KIND OF COMPARED THOSE. SO WE'RE TWO POINTS AHEAD OF WHERE WE PROJECTED TO BE AT THIS POINT IN TIME WHEN WE DID THIS EVALUATION BACK FIVE OR SIX YEARS AGO. SO WE FEEL THAT IT'S A GOOD TREND THAT WE'RE SEEING THERE AND THEN HOPEFULLY THAT WE WILL HIT THESE NUMBERS THAT WE PROJECTED MAYBE A LITTLE A YEAR OR TWO EARLIER THAN WE INITIALLY PROJECTED. THE ALLEY PROJECT, AND YOU CAN SEE, THEY WANT TO GET IT KIND OF BOTTOMED OUT IN 17-18, ACTUALLY THE ALLEYS, WE DID SEE A SLIGHT DECREASE FROM LAST YEAR TO THIS YEAR. THERE'S A COUPLE OF REASONS BEHIND THAT. ONE IS THAT PROGRAM THAT WE HAD HOPED TO GET ONLINE IS A LITTLE BEHIND WITH THE THINGS THAT HAPPEN WITH COVID AND STUFF. SO WE HAD THOSE 13 ALLIES OUT ON THE OUT ON THE STREET AND COMPLETED. NOW THAT IT WOULD PROBABLY HAVE GOTTEN BACK UP TO WHERE WE ARE. BUT OUR PROJECTION FOR THE ALLEYS BASED ON THE REPAIRS VERSUS REPLACEMENT. AND IN A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO, WE KIND OF WE SWITCHED MORE INTO A MORE IN THE REPLACEMENT MODE. BUT I THINK SOME OF OUR INDICATIONS IN SOME OF THE FACT THAT THE PCI OR THE OCI HAD DROPPED A POINT WOULD INDICATE THAT WE'RE GOING TO REEVALUATE AND START LOOKING AT MAYBE GETTING INTO A LITTLE MORE TOWARDS GETTING MORE EFFORTS TOWARDS THE REPAIR LINE, TRYING TO PROJECT THAT 70 LINE AND TRY TO PUSH SOME OF THOSE PROJECTS UP SO THAT WE CAN IMPROVE THE OVERALL OCI. YOU KNOW, YOU TEND TO GET MORE COMPLAINTS ON THE FULL THE NEED FOR THE FULL REBUILDS, BUT WE DO NEED TO ALSO FOCUS ON THOSE REPAIRS AS WELL. THIS IS AN INTERESTING FACT, I SAW SOMETHING THAT WAS DISPLAYED ON THIS IN ONE OF RICHARDSON'S DISPLAYS. I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE GOOD INFORMATION FOR YOU ALL TO SEE, JUST TO SEE KIND OF WHERE WE ARE. AS YOU CAN SEE, THE VAST MAJORITY OF OUR STREETS, IF YOU LOOK AT THE GREEN AND THE BLUE, THAT'S FIFTY SIX PERCENT OF OUR STREETS ARE 40 YEARS OLD OR OLDER. THE OBVIOUSLY, THE 18 PERCENT IS THE THIRTY ONE TO FORTY, THE NINE PERCENT IS THE TWENTY ONE TO THIRTY, THE FIVE PERCENT IS THE LEVEL ELEVEN TO TWENTY AND THEN THE THREE PERCENT IS ZERO TO TEN. AND SO EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE BEEN DOING A LOT OF WORK, WE STILL HAVE A LOT OF STREETS THAT ARE FAIRLY OLD IN THE CITY. AND SO WE'RE WORKING ON TRYING TO MAKE THOSE NUMBERS, MAKE THAT PIE GRAPH SHRINK AND GET MORE WHERE WE'VE GOT A LOT MORE THAT ARE THAT ARE NEWER STREETS. AND THEN I THINK THAT KIND OF CORRELATES HAND-IN-HAND WITH HOW THE PCI IS GOING. [00:30:05] AND OBVIOUSLY, THE OLDER STREETS, THE AVERAGE PCI ON THOSE ARE NOT GOING TO BE AS GOOD, ALTHOUGH WE FIND A LOT OF THOSE, I GUESS, TENDED TO BE THE MORE WELL-BUILT STREETS BECAUSE THEY'VE SURVIVED 50 TO 60 YEARS WITHOUT HAVING TO NEED TO BE REPLACED YET. AND THEN THIS IS OUR ALLEY, THIS IS THE SAME GRAPH LOOKING AT OUR ALLEYS, YOU CAN SEE THAT AS WE KNOW THAT WE'VE GOT, YOU KNOW, FORTY SEVEN PERCENT OF OUR ALLIES ARE 40 YEARS OLD OR OLDER. SO WE'RE STILL WORKING. GARLAND WAS A CITY THAT WAS BUILT IN THE 50S, 60S AND 70S. SO WE STILL HAVE QUITE A FEW OLD STREETS THAT WE'RE WORKING THROUGH TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF. AND THIS IS A BREAKDOWN OF THE THE PAVEMENT OCI BY OUR FUNCTIONAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM ARTERIALS, WE ARE GETTING CLOSE TO GETTING A 90 RATING ON OUR ARTERIAL STREETS. OUR COLLECTORS ARE JUST BELOW 80, TRAILS ARE 82, THE RESIDENTIAL ARE STILL AT 76 AND IN THE ALLEYS ARE AT 70. SO WE'LL SEE I MEAN, WE'LL SEE THAT WE HAVE PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO WORKING ON ARTERIALS AND TRYING TO KEEP OUR ARTERIALS. AND THEN THE FACT IS, WHEN YOU DO AN ARTERIAL REPAIR WITHIN FIVE TO SEVEN YEARS, YOU'RE PROBABLY GOING TO NEED TO COME BACK AND DO SOME MORE WORK ON THAT ARTERIAL JUST TO KIND OF GET THE STUFF THAT FAILS SINCE YOU'VE DONE YOUR REPAIR WORK. BUT IF YOU CONTINUE TO GO BACK TO YOUR ARTERIALS, YOU'LL STILL HAVING TO DO REPAIRS AND YOU'RE NOT GOING TO END UP HAVING TO DO RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. AND THIS IS JUST SOME MAPS OF THE HIGHLIGHTING OF SOME OF THE MAJOR PROJECTS WE DID. WE COMPLETED A REPAIR PROJECT ON BOBTOWN ROAD. FIRST STREET WE HAVE DONE VARIOUS SECTIONS. YOU'LL SEE THAT SECTION BETWEEN MILLER AND ARMSTRONG HAS NOT BEEN DONE. BUT THAT'S BECAUSE WE PULLED OFF AND DIDN'T DO THAT BECAUSE THERE IS A WATER PROJECT, SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT AND WATER REPLACEMENT PROJECT IN THAT STREET THAT WILL COMMENCE SHORTLY. I THINK THEY'VE ALREADY STARTED TO DO A LITTLE BIT OF THE THE PRELIMINARY WORK FOR THAT. FOREST LANE, WE JUST COMPLETED THAT PROJECT IN THE LAST YEAR, SO WE'VE GONE ALL THE WAY OUT TO THE CITY LIMITS FROM FROM GARLAND ROAD AND TAKING CARE OF A LOT OF STUFF, A LOT OF FAILED AREAS ON THAT STREET. NORTH GARLAND WE WORKED ON RECENTLY. THAT'S THE AREA BETWEEN ARAPAHOE AND BELTLINE. ROSE HILL ROAD DOWN THERE SOUTH OF 30. DUCK CREEK ROAD IS OUR, WE'VE ACTUALLY DONE OUR LEVEL LIFTING TO THAT. WE'VE DONE THE LIFTING AND WHAT WE DO ON A LOT OF ARTERIAL STREETS, WHICH IS WE'LL GO THROUGH AND SEND OUR LEVEL LIFTING CONTRACTOR THROUGH AND WE'LL LIFT THE SLABS THAT WE CAN LIFT. AND THEN WE'LL COME BACK AND STABILIZE THOSE SLABS AND EVEN STABILIZE SOME OF THE FAILED ONES. AND THEN WE'LL COME BACK AND REPLACE THE SLABS AFTERWARDS SO THAT ONCE WE DO BOTH OF THOSE PROCESSES THAN WE'VE GOT, WE'RE IN PRETTY GOOD SHAPE WITH THE CONDITION OF THOSE ROADWAYS. MILLER ROAD THERE ARE VARIOUS PROJECTS GOING ON. WE'RE CURRENTLY WORKING BETWEEN FIRST AND CENTERVILLE. WE RECENTLY COMPLETED FROM CENTERVILLE TO THE CITY LIMITS THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENTS WORKING ON THAT SECTION BETWEEN GLENBROOK AND SATURN. AND I THINK THERE ARE SOME REPAIRS, UTILITY REPAIRS ALSO GOING THAT SOME PAVEMENT REPAIRS WILL TAKE PLACE WEST OF GARLAND AVENUE. CENTERVILLE WE HAVE DONE SOME REPAIRS, WE'RE ACTUALLY ACTUALLY HOLDING OFF ON CENTERVILLE, WE STARTED DOING A LITTLE WORK, BUT WE HAVE NOW PULLED OFF AND ARE HOLDING OFF UNTIL DGNO IS GETTING READY TO DO A REPAIR IN THE MIDDLE OF MAY ON THEIR TRACK. THEY ARE JUST NORTH OF THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT. SO WE'RE GOING TO WAIT SINCE THAT'S GOING TO INVOLVE OVER A FEW DAYS. IT'S GOING TO INVOLVE NIGHT TIME WORK AND SOME LANE CLOSURES AND DIVERTING TRAFFIC TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. SO WE'VE DECIDED NOT TO LET OUR CONSTRUCTION UNTIL THEY'VE FINISHED, BUT THEY'LL GET THEIR WORK DONE OVER ABOUT A WEEK. SO ONCE THEY FINISH THEIR WORK, WE'LL GET BACK IN ON CENTERVILLE ROAD. AND SO WE'RE GETTING FOUR ACTUALLY FIVE ALLEYS RECONSTRUCTED AS PART OF THAT PROJECT. SO AS YOU CAN SEE, WE'VE GOT BETWEEN THE DESIGN COST OF NEARLY NINE HUNDRED THOUSAND AND THE CONSTRUCTION COST AND ESTIMATES OF NEARLY 10 MILLION. SO WE'VE GOT ANOTHER 11 MILLION DOLLARS THAT WE HAVE SPENT OUTSIDE OF OUR PROJECTS SHARING FUNDS WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS THAT ARE WORKING ON BETTER MANAGING PROJECTS. THIS IS A LIST OF OUR MAJOR PROJECTS GOING ON. WE'RE WORKING ON ARTERIAL ROADWAY. WE'VE GOT CONTRACTS FOR THE RESIDENTIAL ROADWAY. SO AND THEN WE'VE GOT SEVERAL ALLEY REPLACEMENT PROJECTS THAT WE'VE GOTTEN AND WE'VE JUST FINISHED RECENTLY. WE THIS SHEET IS THE LIST OF 11 STREETS WHERE THE WATER DEPARTMENT WAS GOING TO DO WATER LINES. AND WE HAVE WE BASICALLY TOOK OVER THE TO GO WITH DESIGN, TO GO WITH THE CONSTRUCTION AND ALL THOSE PROJECTS ARE COMPLETED EXCEPT FOR THAT PHASE TWO. WE ACTUALLY DID PHASE ONE AND DID PHASE THREE. AND PHASE TWO IS NEARLY UNDER IS PROBABLY WILL BE FINISHED CONSTRUCTION IN THE NEXT MONTH OR TWO. THEY ARE WELL ON THEIR WAY TO BEING COMPLETED. THAT HAS BEEN OVERWHELMINGLY SUCCESSFUL BEYOND MY WILDEST IMAGINATION, THAT PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMPLAINTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD ABOUT PARKING CAN ENTER A COMPUTERIZED RECORD INTO OUR SYSTEM.
