AND TONIGHT WE WILL BE LED BY COUNCIL MEMBER LUCK FROM DISTRICT FIVE. THANK YOU. SO I JUST FINISHED MY FIRST YEAR ON COUNCIL AND ONE OF THE THINGS THAT I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION TO EVERYONE IS HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO GET INVOLVED. UM JOIN THE CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY. THE CITIZENS FIRE CLUB. START A NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION START A CRIME WATCH GROUP. GET TO KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS GET OUT THERE AND BE PART OF YOUR COMMUNITY.

BECAUSE IN THIS FIRST YEAR WHAT I'VE SEEN IS WHEN PEOPLE GET ANGRY, THEY COME TOGETHER AND THEY SHOW UP. BUT WHEN THEY'RE NOT WHEN THERE'S NOT A THEME THAT KIND OF BRINGS THEM TOGETHER IN A NEGATIVE WAY. USUALLY NOT COMING TOGETHER AS OFTEN. SO TONIGHT.
