Forest Jupiter Transit – Oriented Redevelopment Plan The City of Garland has been awarded $120,000 by the Regional Transportation Council from the 2009 Sustainable Development Call for Projects for preparation of a redevelopment plan and implementation strategy for the area surrounding the Forest Jupiter Station. A resolution approved by Council accepting the funds and agreeing to the terms of the program must be submitted to the North Central Texas Council of Governments no later than September 3, 2010. c. Industrial Pretreatment Ordinance Amendment Council is requested to consider amending Chapter 22, Article VII, Sections 140-153, concerning Industrial Wastes of the City’s Code of Ordinances to comply with the current requirements of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and their Pretreatment Streamlining Rule. Preview of the 2010-11 Proposed Budget Staff will present an overview of the City Manager’s Proposed Budget for 2010-11. The 2010-11 Proposed Budget document will officially be presented to Council at the August 3, 2010 Regular Meeting.
