Utility Advisory Board Candidate Interviews Mr. Gary Pickens resigned as the Position 7 member on the Utility Advisory Board. Council is requested to interview candidates to serve the remainder of Mr. Picken’s term which will expire on August 31, 2012. Information was posted on the City’s website regarding the qualifications of the Position 7 member. Qualified applicants were requested to submit an application to the City Secretary’s Office by Monday, May 10, 2010. Two applications were received.
Businesses Operated from Residential Properties At the request of Council Members Larry Jeffus and Laura Perkins Cox, Council is requested to discuss the existing regulations associated with businesses being operated from residential-zoned properties.
Benefit of Hybrid Vehicles At the request of Council Members Darren Lathen and Preston Edwards, Council is requested to discuss the benefit of hybrid vehicles.
Office of Environmental Quality Update Council will receive an update on the Office of Environmental Quality.
City of Irving On-Road Fleet Retrofit Project Council is requested to consider authorizing the City to partner with the City of Irving in the execution of an Environmental Protection Agency fleet retrofit grant. If Council concurs, this item will be scheduled for formal consideration at the June 1, 2010 Regular Meeting.
