Written Briefings: a. 2009-2011 Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing (HPRP) Budget The City expects to receive $858,997 through the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 for an HPRP Program. A public hearing is scheduled at the August 4, 2009 Regular Meeting in order to receive public input on the allocations for funding the HPRP budget. This item will also be scheduled at the August 17, 2009 Work Session to discuss the proposals and the budget, with formal consideration at the August 18, 2009 Regular Meeting. b. Revisions to City Council Policy No. OPNS-05 – Council Travel As directed by Council, the Administrative Services Committee met to discuss and review City Council Policy OPNS-05 - Council Travel. The ASC is recommending that revisions be made to the policy by eliminating the costs for spouses to accompany Council Members on out of town meetings. If Council concurs, this item will be scheduled for formal consideration at the August 18, 2009 Regular Meeting. c. Atmos Rate Review Mechanism (RRM) Settlement Council is requested to consider approval of Atmos gas rate tariffs with Atmos Mid-Tex Division to change gas rates pursuant to the RRM process.
