(Item 1a) Police Contact Data (Item 1b) Dallas County Criminal Justice Advisory Board (Item 1c) Texas Historical Marker for Bankhead Highway (Item 2a) Rescheduling the Second Council Meetings in March 2009 Due to some of the Council Members planning to attend the 2009 National League of Cities Annual Congressional City Conference on March 14-18, 2009, the Mayor has requested that Council consider rescheduling the second meetings in March from March 16 & 17, 2009 to March 23 & 24, 2009.
Regional Transportation Council Update Mayor Ronald Jones will provide an update on the Regional Transportation Council.
Regional Transportation Council’s Legislative Position on Rail North Texas At the request of Mayor Ronald Jones and Council Member Douglas Athas, Council is requested to consider approving a resolution endorsing the Regional Transportation Council’s legislative position on Rail North Texas.
Mayor’s Good Neighbor Award The Community Services Committee will brief Council on their recommendation regarding the implementation of a “Mayor’s Good Neighbor Award,” a program to recognize outstanding property maintenance efforts.
(Item 3) Consider the Consent Agenda A member of the City Council may ask that an item on the consent agenda for the next regular meeting be pulled from the consent agenda and considered separate from the other consent agenda items. No substantive discussion of that item will take place at this time.
