Item 12 - The City of Garland owns a 4.383-acre tract of land located at 675 W. Walnut Street and adjacent to property owned by the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD). Council is requested to consider authorizing the sale of 3.817 acres of the 4.383-acre tract to the DCCCD. DCCCD is proposing to incorporate the 3.817 acres with the property they currently own and develop a Workforce Training Center. The appraised value of the 3.817-acre tract of land is $632,237. This item was postponed from the September 4, 2007 Regular Meeting.
