Invocation, Pledge, Presentations and Proclamations.
All items under this section are recommended for approval by a single motion of Council, without discussion. Council has been briefed on these items at a previous work session and approval of the consent agenda authorizes the City Manager to implement each item. The Mayor will announce the agenda and provide an opportunity for members of the audience and the City Council to request that an item be removed and considered separately.
Consider a resolution adopting and approving the Consolidated Plan - One Year Plan of Action including a Statement of Community Development Objectives and Projected Uses of Funds for the 2007/2008 Community Development Block Grant, HOME, ADDI and ESG Programs.
Hold a public hearing and consider adopting certain standards under Section 111 of the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA).
Consider a request for a variance to Section 12-100 of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance regarding Special Off-Street Parking Provisions.
Consider a request for approval of a waiver to Section 31.27 of the City of Garland Code of Ordinances regarding alley requirements for residential lots on property zoned Single-Family (SF/7D/3) District.
Consider appointments to Boards and Commissions, citizen comments and Adjourn.
