COVID-19 RESPONSE UPDATE AND FURTHER ACTIONS The City continues to respond to the COVID-19 emergency consistent with Council direction and good health practices. The situation remains quite fluid, not only as to containing the spread of the COVID-19 virus, but as to how the City may best direct its efforts to mitigate the effects on City operations and the public. The City Council will be briefed on what measures have been put in place by the Governor and other local governments in response to the emergency, what effect the emergency is having on the City and its citizens, and what response measures, if any, should be added, modified or discontinued. Consider an Ordinance confirming, ratifying, or amending an emergency proclamation of Mayor Scott LeMay of the 23rd Day of June, 2020, and adopting, approving and ratifying certain rules, including but not limited to the closure of Windsurf Bay park, as a response to the impact of COVID-19, to protect the health of persons in the City B.
