Community Coalition to Address B.J. Williams/Stanley Homelessness in Garland At the request of Council Members B.J. Williams and Stephen W. Stanley, Council will discuss the City’s past and present financial and in-kind services investments related to homelessness in Garland.
Sound Wall Aesthetics Luedtke A sound wall will be constructed on the north side of IH 635 East between La Prada and Centerville Drive. This construction is an early part of the overall IH 635 East reconstruction. Council was briefed on the general aesthetic package for the overall design at the December 15, 2014 Work Session. Due to the advancement of this sound wall in the reconstruction process, Council is being asked to select a specific design for the overall sound wall. Two choices that were shown at the public meeting on January 29, 2015 will be presented for selection by the Council.
Review and Deliberation of 2015 Capital Young Improvement Program Council will deliberate changes, if any, in the City Manager’s proposed capital plan. • Council deliberations • Direction to staff on final changes to Capital Improvement Program.
Consider the Consent Agenda Council A member of the City Council may ask that an item on the consent agenda for the next regular meeting be pulled from the consent agenda and considered separate from the other consent agenda items. No substantive discussion of that item will take place at this time. ` 3. Announce Future Agenda Items Council A member of the City Council, with a second by another member, or the Mayor alone, may ask that an item be placed on a future agenda of the City Council or a committee of the City Council.
