On March 1, 2016, Atmos made a filing requesting $35.4 million additional revenue on a system-wide basis. ACSC and Atmos have reached an agreement to reduce the Atmo's revenue increase from $35.4 million to increase of $29.9 million on a system basis. For Atmos bills rendered on or after June 1, 2016 the monthly residential customer charge will be $19.10 and the consumption charge will be $0.11378 per Ccf. The monthly bill impact for the typical residential customer consuming 46.8 Ccf will be an increase of $1.26, or about 2.43%. The typical commercial customer will see an increase of $3.81, or 1.43%. Interview for Appointment to the North Texas Municipal Water District Board The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) notified the City that Jack May's term of office as a NTMWD Board Member expires on May 31, 2016. Information was posted on the City's website for 14 days regarding the qualifications of the NTMWD Board Member in order to provide an opportunity for citizens to apply for the position. A letter of interest was received from Jack May. Council is scheduled to formally appoint a representative to the NTMWD Board of Directors at the May 17, 2016 Regular Meeting.
