A recent review reveals that changes are needed on Hayman Drive for Lakeview Centennial High School. Use of Escrow Accounts to Manage TMPA Debt Service On July 12, 2012, the Texas Municipal Power Agency (TMPA) Board of Directors passed a resolution providing TMPA Member Cities an option for the administration of funds received from Member Cities for the purpose of refunding or prepaying a portion of TMPA's outstanding revenue refunding bonds, Series 1993. On May 19, 2016, the TMPA Board of Directors passed a resolution expanding the refunding or prepayment option to its Series 2008 and Series 2013 outstanding revenue refunding bonds. Garland Power & Light is seeking Council approval to authorize the City Manager, or his representative, to approve the TMPA agreement allowing the use of escrow accounts to manage TMPA debt services associated with TMPA's Series 2008 and Series 2013 revenue refunding bonds. Interview for Appointment to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Board The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) notified the City that Michael T. Cheney and Mark C. Enoch's term of office as a DART Board Member expires on June 30, 2016. Information was posted on the City's website for 14 days regarding the qualifications of the DART Board Member in order to provide an opportunity for citizens to apply for the position. A letter of interest was received from Michael. T. Cheney, Patrick Spreng, Mark C. Enoch, and Jonathan R. Kelley. Council is scheduled to formally appoint a representative to the DART Board of Directors at the June 21, 2016 Regular Meeting.
