Resolution Supporting Tax Revenues for Local and State Parks In preparation for the 85th Session of the Texas Legislature, the Legislative Committee is collecting resolutions supporting the passage of legislation that supports a fair and equitable distribution of the sporting goods sales tax revenue for local and state parks. These resolutions are an effective way to notify our elected officials on the support and importance of the Parks & Recreation Industry. Unless otherwise directed by Council, this item will be scheduled for formal consideration at the December 13, 2016 Regular Meeting. b. Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Selective Enforcement Program (STEP) Impaired Driving Mobilization (IDM) Grant Council is requested to consider accepting a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) - Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) - Impaired Driving Mobilization (IDM) Grant. Unless otherwise directed by Council, this item will be scheduled for formal consideration at the December 13, 2016 Regular Meeting.

Development and Implementation of the Collin County Mobility Plan At the request of Mayor Douglas Athas, Collin County Commissioner Cheryl Williams will speak about the development and implementation of the Collin County Mobility Plan. In particular, she will brief the Council on how the County is exploring additional North-South transportation routes around Lake Lavon and how they might affect the future use of SH78 going southward into Dallas County.
Consider the Consent Agenda A member of the City Council may ask that an item on the consent agenda for the next regular meeting be pulled from the consent agenda and considered separate from the other consent agenda items. No substantive discussion of that item will take place at this time.
