Verbal Briefings: Charter Review At the request of Council Member Rich Aubin and Council Member Lori Barnett Dodson, Council is requested to consider a charter review committee. The City Charter requires the Council first convene a Charter Review Committee, composed of not less than nine (9) residents of the City, to make recommendations to the Council on any such amendment. The Council shall establish the Charter Review Committee no later than the second regular meeting of the Council in the October preceding an election in the following May.

Consider Equipment Use Policy for City Owned Equipment Nonprofits, individuals, and other organizations consistently request the use of the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts city owned equipment. It is necessary to develop a policy that guides requests from the public for the use of this equipment. Staff recommends that Council consider and approve this policy that would allow for city staff to review each request on a case by case basis to evaluate the appropriateness and availability of requested equipment.
