Policy development for Tree Mitigation & Preservation Program At the request of Council Member Deborah Morris and Council Member David Gibbons, Council is requested to begin the process of initiating a review of the City's Tree Preservation Ordinance, and begin the process of developing Tree Fund Program policies, guidelines, and administrative support.

Update on Progress and Implementation of Proposed 2019 Bond Referendum Representatives from Kimley-Horn and City Staff will provide an update to the Council regarding public input, community meetings, anticipated timelines and other information related to the proposed 2019 Bond Program.
4B. Use of Celebratory Fireworks Council is requested to approve the amendment to Chapter 26, Police-Miscellaneous, of the Code of Ordinances which adds a subsection to prohibit fireworks. Unless otherwise directed by Council, this item will be scheduled for formal consideration at the November 6, 2018 Regular Meeting. 4C. Commercial and Oversized Vehicles Parked in Residential Areas Parking issues in residential areas have become a growing concern for citizenry. Currently, city ordinance provides certain restrictions relating to oversized and commercial vehicles within residential zones; however, many citizens express dissatisfaction with the latitude provided by existing ordinances. Other citizens express contradictory views and oppose existing and/or further restrictions. 4D. Rental Bikes and Motorized Scooters Council is requested to consider an ordinance that would allow Code Compliance to impound unattended rental bikes/scooters. Further, the proposed ordinance would provide for a designated reclamation period. If not reclaimed, the ordinance establishes clear authority to dispose of the property.
