The City Council will adjourn into executive session pursuant to Sections 551.071 and 551.072 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate or discuss:
- Pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offer(s), and matters concerning privileged and unprivileged client information deemed confidential by Rule 1.05 of the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct in regard to acquiring real property where public convenience and necessity requires the use of eminent domain (551.071); and
- The purchase, lease, or exchange of several lots or tracts of real property, or use of eminent domain to acquire real property, generally located In the general vicinity of the following locations within the City of Garland (551.072):
- Intersection of Pleasant Valley and Firewheel Parkway;
- Intersection of State Highway 190 and Campbell Road; and
- East Avenue D between First Street and Dairy
