Please note that an additional item has been added since that time relating to the governance of the North Texas Municipal Water District. The City Council may add to, delete from, or modify any of the submitted items at this time. It should be born in mind that even in final form an adopted legislative program is not meant to be exclusive of other legislative efforts, nor is it meant to be an allinclusive description of the City's position on matters arising during the legislative session. There are simply too many bills in a given session on which the City may want to take a stand. The adopted legislative program will, however, function as a general statement of the Council's will and serve as a guide for the City's efforts in Austin in the upcoming session. The City Council may, and traditionally has, approved specific statements of support or objection by adopting resolutions and position statements to that effect during a legislative session. 11.
