GP&L Dent Road to Shelby 138kV Transmission Line Construction Bid No. 0821-19 Maslonka Powerline Services $3,875,126.00 Optional Contingency 387,512.00 TOTAL: $4,262,638.00 This request is to provide labor and equipment necessary for construction of the 5.9-mile GP&L Dent Road to Shelby 138kV Transmission Line. This is part of the approved Dent Road to Shelby 138kV Transmission Line CIP project. Due to the complex nature of the project, an Optional Contingency is included for any additional work that may be required. d. GP&L Apollo Substation Control House Bid No. 0829-19 CTS Crown Texas, Inc. $1,548,814.00 This request is for the purchase of a control house for the GP&L Apollo Substation. e. GP&L Apollo Substation Electrical Equipment Bid No. 0830-19 KBS Electrical Distributors, Inc. $147,639.56 This request is for the purchase of circuit switchers, fused disconnects and other electrical equipment needed for the rebuild of the GP&L Apollo Substation in accordance with the project plans and specifications. f. GP&L Apollo Substation Rebuild Materials Bid No. 0831-19 Texas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. $188,765.59 This request is for the purchase of station post insulators, vacuum interrupters, aluminum bus and other materials for the GP&L Apollo Substation in accordance with the project plans and specifications. g. Mini Pumper Truck Bid No. 1063-19 Siddons-Martin Emergency Group $236,322.00 This request is for the purchase of a new mini pumper truck for the Garland Fire Department. h. GP&L King Mountain Transmission Line Construction Labor Bid No. 0902-19 RES System 3, LLC $2,203,245.00 This request is to provide labor necessary for construction of the 345kV GP&L King Mountain Switch to Roadrunner Solar Transmission Line. i. Auto Lube Systems for Side-Loader Trucks Bid No. 0665-19 Heil of Texas $59,500.00 This request is to approve Change Order #1 for the purchase of seven auto lube systems to be installed on replacement side-loader trucks for EWS. 3. Consider an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Garland, Texas, ordaining the City's participation in the Texas Enterprise Zone Program pursuant to the Texas Enterprise Zone Act, Chapter 2303, Texas Government Code (Act), providing tax incentives, designating a liaison for communication with interested parties, and nominating Kraft Heinz Foods Company to the Office of the Governor Economic Development & Tourism (EDT) through the Economic Development Bank as an Enterprise Project. 7. Consider appointments to Boards and Commissions. Board members are selected for two-year terms by the City Council in August.
