Consider a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an Election Services Contract with Dallas County by and through the Dallas County Elections Administrator, and a Joint General and Special Election Services Contract with Collin County by and through the Collin County Elections Administrator; adopting certain designated voting systems for use in the 2020 Garland General Election; and providing an effective date. Council is requested to approve a contract with Dallas and Collin County Elections to secure election services for all Garland registered voters for the May 2, 2020 General Election.
Hold a public hearing to receive comment on the 2020 Proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP). A public hearing will be held on the 2020 Proposed Capital Improvement Program (CIP). At the public hearing, all interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard for or against the Proposed CIP Program.
